HP Watermakers chose to develop an innovative solution: a 220V desalinator that, with a consumption of only 1 kWh, can continuously produce 120 l/h of fresh water. The use of alternating current provides undoubted advantages: it prolongs the life of electric motors and their efficiency, the current draw is smoother, and then the installation is simpler with smaller cable sections.

Until now, where the availability of electricity is limited, the solution was 12VDC or 24VDC desalinators, which, however, when subjected to long periods of operation, showed obvious reliability problems. The new watermaker will have the same body as the HP SCA (84 x 45.5 x 42 cm)
