Pardo 50

As the younger brother of 43 feet, the Pardo 50 was designed by Zuccheri Yacht Design, in collaboration with the technical department of Cantiere del Pardo, to meet the needs of a competent shipowner who is attentive to quality, design, Made in Italy luxury and comfort associated with high performance and speed.

Construction

The Pardo 50 is an excellent compromise between performance and comfort, thanks to a deep-V hull with variable geometry, 16° at the stern and more than 50° in the bow sections that give it excellent seaworthiness while providing perfect maneuverability to glide safely and at speed. Convex bottoms also provide greater strength of shape.

In terms of construction, a historical workhorse of the Pardo Shipyard, the technique of vacuum infusion lamination with vinylester resin and monolithic confondo and keel is adopted, while the sides and stern are made of high-density pvc sandwich. The deck is also laminated in infusion with high-density pvc sandwich to provide greater thermal and acoustic insulation.

The motorization, shifted as far as possible toward the center of gravity of the hull to improve stability and have a better center of gravity, includes two Volvo IPS 600 engines in the standard version, while Volvo IPS 700 or 800 can be fitted at the specific request of the owner. The electronic wheelhouse is equipped with jostyck for maneuvering and electronic throttles. Placing the engines as far as possible amidships prevents the bow from rising, facilitating and accelerating the onset of the glide and ensuring consistently good sea keeping even at high speeds.

Pardo 50: exteriors

The Pardo 50 is a boat designed for those who like to experience the sea in company, with guests on board, but also enjoy extremely relaxing moments with the family. For this reason, the deck plan is developed on a walkaround conformation on a single plane from stern to bow without steps and is entirely protected by raised bulwarks to give assurance of safety. This is to have easy and safe movement on board.

An optional folding swim platform is provided at the stern: a solution often adopted aboard superyachts to have easy access to the sea. Enhancing relaxation or enjoyment at the water’s edge are the aft bulwarks with two side sections that can be folded down to become two more small beaches, true terraces on the sea, which also expand the cockpit’s walkable area. All dunnage is natural teak as standard equipment, but can be replaced by synthetic teak upon request. Maximum customization, on the other hand, is left to the owner’s tastes in terms of the colors and fabrics of the on-board cushions.

Areas dedicated to relaxation are located both in the bow, where there is a large sunbathing area, and in the stern, where we find a large sunbed under which hides a storage compartment that can also be set up as a garage for the tender to accommodate a Williams 285. Characteristic of the outdoor spaces, the galley is provided in two different layouts: a standard version, with a longitudinal passage to the entrance below deck, or a larger one, with a full-width countertop and side passage to the entrance for the cabins.

The approximately 16-square-meter fixed T-Top, constructed of rigid and lightweight carbon fiber, covers from the wheelhouse area to the dining area, with the option of extending the cover aft with a bimini. The latter can be installed with an electric mechanism built into the top of the T-Top or a manual solution with poles. Lighting designed to create a dreamlike atmosphere throughout the cockpit is provided for nighttime hours.

Interior – Pardo 50

The distribution of the interior is truly unique for a walkaround open boat: in fact, on board the Pardo 50 we find a large open space with two cabins and two bathrooms, with the possibility of also having a third cabin for the sailor, a strong feature of this model. The interiors, with optimal heights, represent the quintessential DNA of the shipyard: timeless elegance forged by the hands of expert craftsmen. The linearity and refinement of the furnishings are enhanced by the careful choice of woods and attention to detail that make the interiors of the Pardo 50 a Made in Italy excellence.

The master cabin has large volumes, features a double bed with drawers under the mattress, a full-height closet, and a bathroom with separate shower stall, as well as several compartments that can be used as storage. In contrast, the guest cabin, furnished with closets and drawers, features two single beds and a bathroom with an integrated shower stall and access from both the cabin and the corridor. All colors and materials can be customized following the owner’s taste.
