2023 is the year of the hat trick. Quick Group, not even a month after the announcement of the acquisition of Xenta (100 percent), unveils another coup: the acquisition of Nemo Industrie. It is the third in 2023, after precisely Xenta and Sanguineti Chiavari.
Quick Group acquires Nemo Industrie
At METS 2023 came the officialdom on Quick’s acquisition of Nemo Industrie. It is the last of three deals that went through in 2023: Sanguineti Chiavari, Xenta and Nemo Industrie. The latter is a well-known Romagna brand with a long history. It was established in 1969 and today produces components for both sailboats and powerboats.
With these additional acquisitions, the Piangipane (RA) company can now “arm” any type of sail or power boat with a huge variety of products. Battery chargers, gyro stabilizers and fins, maneuvering propellers, winches, pumps and hydraulic tanks, not to mention Quick Marine’s ever-expanding “lighting” offerings.
The new acquisitions further expand the offerings, fill uncovered areas, and even allow for total integration in some cases.
Three new brands inside Quick Group
Italian Quick in recent years has been concentrating more and more important entities in its orbit with heterogeneous and important acquisitions. Important input came in 2022 with the entry of Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR and Armònia SGR , which acquired a majority stake in Quick Spa.
Nemo Industries
Nemo Industries
Nemo Industrie was founded in 1969, in Forli. The recipe of “homemade” from design to manufacture works. The refinement of the choice of material suppliers, the result of years of experience, does the rest and brings Nemo to be world-renowned in the production of components for power and sailboats such as doors, portholes, furling and gangways.
Sanguineti Chiavari
A piece of Ligurian boating history. Sanguineti Chiavari has been in existence for 65 years. Today it is known for top-of-the-line products for superyachts and megayachts. Ladders, catwalks, cranes, telescopic masts for navigation lights, platforms, balcony handling systems and automatic handrails, hard top handling. In short, everything today that makes people say “wow” when they see a boat could be a Sanguineti product.
“In 2023, turnover increased by 36 percent, ” comments Lorenzo Cesari, CEO of Sanguineti Chiavari, and We anticipate further growth of 33 percent in 2024, to double sales by 2026, thanks in part to investments of 3.5 million euros. The relocation of the company’s headquarters to Casarza Ligure (GE) will allow the company an expansion of space by about 6 thousand square meters in total, of which about 3,500 square meters will be covered, which will enable it to absorb the order book (to date full on 2024) and increase production capacity, including through a 35 percent increase in the workforce.”
Xenta
Established almost two decades ago, in 2004, XENTA is at the pinnacle for maneuvering and navigation control software on board vessels. In the range are electronic diesel, electric, and hybrid propulsion control systems, electronic steering systems with electrohydraulic actuation, maneuvering systems including assisted maneuvering, position keeping systems, stability control systems, and remote control systems.
“Thanks to its technological know-how, XENTA,” comments Lorenzo Mongiardo, CEO of XENTA, ” has established strong partnerships with shipyards of international prestige, gaining a strategic role in the implementation of complex solutions in the shaftline, surface drive and waterjet propulsion segments.”

In 2024 Quick prepares another acquisition
Why all these acquisitions? The goal is clear: to transform the group into a true super-power on all segments of the vast and varied marine accessories. This requires companies with vertical expertise on even very specific products. Adding to this know-how, Quick’s industrial strength, we are faced with the emergence of a truly complete group with an increasingly central role in world boating.
In 2023, important managers arrived such as. Tommi Salonen, now commercial director of Quick Group, Marco Rodi, current COO of Quick Group, and Marco Santoro, managing director Quick USA, who comes from the Ferretti Group.
Quick’s “nerve center,” CATT, a hub that supplies most aluminum, bronze, and stainless steel components, as well as all molds for plastic parts, also grew this year. Under the leadership of Carlo Mazzucco, seven new state-of-the-art CNC machining centers have arrived.
Work, meanwhile, is not stopping, and another major acquisition is also planned for spring 2024.
