Ranieri International Quarantatre: two new 14 m walkarounds

For Ranieri International it is a real revolution. It has just unveiled a world premiere of two important new products: Quarantatre Z and Quarantatre TT, the new flagships of the boat division, which abandon the lines of the highly successful Next range to wear a completely new style. Quarantatre Z and TT are two next-generation walkarounds with modern designs and top-of-the-line spaces.

Ranieri International Forty-three

Same hull, punctuated by two unprecedented trapezoidal windows housed in a scantling that runs along the side from bow to stern, sleeking the lines, two solutions: the Z, with its hard top, has modern and essential lines, while the TT, has a T-Top, precisely, which gives a sporty look while providing adequate protection for a pure open. Both covers are made of carbon, which is light and strong, to lower the center of gravity, improving stability even in sustained sailing.

The layout

Otherwise, the deck layout is shared: the large aft cockpit is designed to offer maximum livability, with settees and sundecks ideal for life aboard. The bulwarks are not collapsible, in contrast to current fashion, but thanks to a unique design solution, which sees a very deep connected swim platform, the same functional advantages are achieved, without the technical and structural limitations that traditional collapsible bulwarks can entail: among them, considerable weight. At the bow, a sunbathing area with table creates an additional convivial space overlooking the water.

Interiors

Below deck, too, there is room for novel and clever solutions, such as the modularity of the layout, which can be transformed, separating the forward cabin from an otherwise open-plan environment with a quick gesture. Optionally, total privacy of the aft cabin can also be achieved by adding a bulkhead with door. The bathrooms are large and include a true separate shower stall. These are all features that denote attention from higher class boats.

Technology and engines

One of the strong points of the Quarantatre series is the hull, which is totally new, with a double step set very far back, a sign of a vocation for high performance. And, in this respect, the motorization does not disappoint at all: outboard only, up to 4 installations for as many as 1,600 total hp. Hulls and decks are made of vinylester resins for maximum durability, light weight and osmosis resistance.

We do not yet know when we might see them live, since they do not appear among the models listed at the upcoming Cannes and Genoa, but Ranieri International has announced that the official presentation will take place at the major boat shows of the 2025/2026 season. Who knows if surprises will come or we will have to wait a little longer.
