Ranieri NEXT 275 LX – PREVIEW

With summer getting closer and closer, Ranieri International seizes the opportunity and officially unveils its latest project, the Ranieri Next 275 LX, an 8.2-meter, cabin cruiser sundeck intended as an “extra-luxury” product, as the LX acronym indicates. Four berths and up to 500 outboard horsepower then for this latest addition to Ranieri’s boats, which will be presented to the public a at the first boat shows of the 2023-2024 season. While waiting for water tests and first photos, let’s see what we know about it in the meantime.

Exterior

Newly designed Sundeck, and strong in the family feeling of Ranieri’s NEXT range into which it fits (filling the gap between the Next 240 and the Next 285 LX), the new 275 LX presents generous spaces for size, offering a feature-rich and complete deck for weekender use.

To accommodate, immediately aft, two swim platforms surround the outboard motoring, facilitating both access aboard and descent into the water thanks to a newly conceived design of the entire section. Just beyond, the cockpit unfolds, which features a double folding back sofa seat that can be converted into a sundeck by taking advantage of the table just ahead. On the latter, two fold-down bench seats recessed in the broadside also face each other, while a third fold-down bench is located in the bow, recessed in the wet bar, thus completing the 4 sides of the table with seating. The triple fold-down seat solution is convenient, thus allowing free movement around the entire cockpit.

Finally, forward of the wet bar are the two seats destined for the helm station, with the wheelhouse offset to starboard to leave clear space for access to below decks created on the port aft side of the console, complete with windshield. To conclude, the forward pontoon is engaged entirely by a sundeck, which can be reached from the walkways on both sides of the console.

Ranieri NEXT 275 LX – Interior

Shifting attention below deck, the spaces carved out in the NEXT 275 LX do not disappoint, especially keeping in mind the size of the boat. In fact, an area capable of accommodating up to 4 people for the night is located here, divided into two separate areas between the bow and stern. Also below deck is a separate bathroom, complete with sink and toilet.

Construction and Motorization

As with the rest of the boats in the range, the 275 was designed and built according to the Fully – Developed Cockpit System by Ranieri International, the construction system that, in addition to optimizing the production process, offers the possibility of making a monocoque including deck, cabin floor, technical accommodations, tanks and lockers in a single mold – also favoring the maintenance of the large maximum beam for the â…” of the hull length, increasing on-board comfort.

As for the water lines of the 275 LX, however, the hull is engineered according to Ranieri’s H.I.S. (Hull Innovative System – Generation III), then assembled according to the C.S.A. system, or Cockpit Shock Absorber.
