Previewed for you, here is a new 8-meter electric boat.
It is called reBot 8 and comes from a Minorcan shipyard in the Balearic Islands where the brand reBot Yachts is based.
Precisely because of the connection with this area, the style draws on the tradition of the Llaüt of the Balearic Islands, the ‘typical boat of this area.
This is combined with more modern design elements and a 100% electric propulsion.

At 8 meters long, it is a vessel designed for day trips, and on board it can accommodate up to 10 people in total.
Its “pure dayboat” vocation is noticeable given the presence of two large sundecks: one is at the bow, full beam, the other central towards the stern.
In the center, the debut version has a small canopy supported by two side posts to shelter the wheelhouse, which has, behind it, a dining area with a central table.
The design is elegant, but it is precisely because of its shape that it is possible to imagine it as an ideal hull for day trips.
A kind of “private” beach on the sea from which to dive or where to lie down and enjoy the sun’s rays.
Let’s come to performance.
We have not tried her yet, but preliminary information tells us that she is not a hull designed for extreme speeds, quite the contrary.
The cruising speed is at 8 knots while pushing to the max gives a maximum of 14 knots of speed.
Powering it are two 15 kW electric pods and 32.8 kWh batteries, however, which can be modified.
For the shipyard, however, the range is estimated at between 6 and 10 hours of cruising, as consumption can vary depending on the conditions and the speed at which you move.
