Brigitte Bardot, trimaran for sale
Her name when she set the record in 1998 was not that of the famous French actress, but rather Cable and Wireless Adventure. The boat has then been used since 2010 by Sea Shepherd, the international owner organization dedicated to safeguarding ocean environments, and world famous for its sometimes extreme actions to protect cetaceans from illegal actions. Brigitte Bardot is a tribute to the actress, who is both a supporter of the movement and a member of Sea Shepherd ‘s Council of Wise Men.
A boat accustomed to long sailing, just think that when it set the record in 74 days, it covered about 22,600 nautical miles, or over 41,800 kilometers.
