Our selection of the best RIBS of 2022 could not fail to include the Ribco Venom 34, one of the latest additions from the Greek boayard Ribco.

Ribco Venom 34

Passion for speed is at the heart of every Ribco model, where offshore hulls are typically combined with Mediterranean-styled decks. This is, however, just the tip of the iceberg of a much more structured and profound project. In just under 30 years, Ribco has produced over 500 RIBs that ply the seas all over the world.

Ribco Venom 34 – Propulsion and Performance

Featuring a double-stepped hull designed by Lorne Campbell and powered by two Mercury V8 outboatds (300 HP each) outboards, the Ribco Venom 34 can reach a top speed of over 65 knots with a low fuel consumption. At 4,500 rpm and 47 knots, in fact, the boat uses just 98 l/h overall.

The yard’s motto is that ‘all RIBs can go fast, but only very few can do so in all conditions’. Ribco aims to be one of those very few, on the strength of a deep-V hull developed with Campbell. All Ribco yachts are built in-house, with the yard overseeing every stage of the construction process. This is a remarkable strength for a brand that relies on fine materials to guarantee luxury finishes. The Ribco Venom 34, 9.98 metres in length, is the smallest of the Venom range and is designed with a relaxation area aft with sundeck.

Ribco Venom 34 – Deck

In the centre of the boat, a full-carbon fibre T-Top shelters the helm station with, as standard, two cushioned seats and a three-seat bench and wet-bar. Standard features include a cabin with a curtain under the bow sundeck, a toilet with washbasin inside the console and an on-board shower system with fresh and salt water. Everything is studied down to the smallest detail from the driving position to the upholstery finish to create the perfect mix between an “extreme” RIB in terms of performance and quality with luxury tender standards.
