Among the many boats that made their debut at the Genoa Boat Show was the Rio Daytona, the new outboard model from Rio Yachts. A walk-around vessel with an overall length of 10.5 designed as a day boat.

The center console is the center of gravity around which the entire deck of this boat orbits. The walk-around setting allows easy board circulation. It is accessed from the stern where there are two platforms that open on either side of the two engines. Speaking of motorization, this motor boat is equipped with two outboards with a recommended 300 horsepower each.

The central cockpit is wide and allows for a significant number of guests to be on board, each with their own available space. The aft-most seat can be transformed into a sundeck by lowering the backrest. In the center of the cockpit we also find a retractable table. Forward of the cockpit, behind the helm station seating, is the galley area protected by a T-top. Here the owner can choose the options according to the type of sailing he or she prefers to do.
The dashboard, with 3 seats close together, allows those who are steering the boat to be able to be in contact with other people on board. The large multifunction screen in the center of the console is supported by a whole range of analog gauges.
The walkways toward the bow are wide, although the broadside gets much lower as you approach the bow, while in the cockpit it is higher. In the bow is a sundeck that starts from under the windshield.
Rio Daytona 34 – Below Deck
The boat’s raised deck at the bow allows for significant volumes in the forward cabin/dinette. Below deck altogether there are 4 beds and a bathroom with shower. This makes this vessel a good solution for families with two children.
