Boating is going through a period of great turmoil. Among the shipyards that have best succeeded in interpreting the new needs of boaters is the historic Rizzardi Yachts brand, which recorded an encouraging +30% in sales between 2019 and 2020 with prospects for further growth in 2021.

Rizzardi on the rise

Rizzardi is certainly among the historical nautical brands in Italy. The latest managerial choices have brought the second generation, led by founder Gianfranco, to leading roles. Now the shipyard aims to consolidate what is the IN range with the new INseven and Ineight that follow the two highly successful models, INsix and INfive. At the same time Rizzardi is also secretly working on the development of a new model, about whose size, however, nothing is known yet.

Meanwhile, production continues apace at the Sabaudia plant, where three boats, one INfive and two INsix, have been launched in recent days, and several more models are scheduled to be launched in the coming months.

As anticipated earlier, the company’s turnover is growing with an increase of around 30 percent between the year 2019 and 2020 with prospects for further growth comparing the data with the first months of 2021. The positive forecast is confirmed by a number of vessels already commissioned for 2022 as well.

The reasons for success

Today’s boat owner is looking for a boat that is increasingly capable of meeting his or her needs. Precisely for this reason, Rizzardi has created a showroom inside the yard for owners to have a reserved area where they can view and choose the layout, from details to finishes, but not only, advised by the company’s team of designers and planners.

While the owner feels pampered at the purchase stage, equally important is what comes afterwards. Therefore, the shipyard, in order to offer comprehensive support at all times, is increasing its garaging, refitting and servicing services. More than 70 boats have used this service during the past year.
