Saim Marine is preparing to take center stage at the Metstrade in Amsterdam, the world’s largest show dedicated to marine components and accessories, scheduled for Nov. 18-20. For the first time, the Italian company will be present directly inside the booth of Rehlko, the U.S.-based genset brand for which it is the official distributor in Italy, along with other European distributors.

This choice marks an important change in Saim Marine’s strategy, which thus strengthens its relationship with Kohler Energy, Rehlko’s parent company, and with the brand’s main European distributors. Inside the booth(hall 12, stand 440) it will be possible to speak directly with the Italian company’s technicians and learn more about Rehlko’s innovative solutions for on-board energy management systems.

OPMS Seamless Integration: 360-degree energy management

OPMS Seamless Integration

Among the most interesting new features is the OPMS Seamless Integration system, designed and developed in-house by Saim Marine. This Onboard Power Management system is designed to optimize the distribution and use of power on board, ensuring a smooth transition between different sources-including external ones-and controlling consumption peaks to avoid waste.

Compliant with international ISO, IEC and RINA standards, OPMS is presented as an advanced solution for shipyards, refitting and aftermarket installations, capable of improving energy efficiency without compromise.

SAIM IoT Monitoring System: smart control of Rehlko generators

SAIM IoT Monitoring System

Rounding out the technology offering is the SAIM IoT Monitoring System, an integrated hardware and software platform designed to monitor all key parameters of Rehlko generators installed on board in real time.

Through aunique graphical interface, the owner or technician can keep an eye on consumption, temperatures, hours of operation, and other key data that are useful for effective preventive maintenance and timely intervention in case of anomalies.

This dual innovation represents Saim Marine’s desire to differentiate itself beyond simple distribution by focusing on the development of proprietary technologies that integrate and enhance the onboard experience and the use of distributed technologies.
