SmartPlug

Connecting the boat to the electricity at the dock has never been so safe. Why? With SmartPlug, the new standard of Saim Marine that allows secure connections, ease of use, and a larger contact area. In addition, there is an immediate insertion with a tear-proof hooking system. SmartPlug is available in the 16/32/50 Amp version.

SmartPlug, a safer way to bring elecetricity onboard

How does SmartPlug work? With a plug and socket system that allows you to carry electricity from the dock columns on board. With a contact surface of the socket and plug poles about 20 times larger than traditional systems, SmartPlug reduces the possibility of overheating of the contacts, sometimes causing dangerous fires on board.

SmartPlug sockets are easy to install onboard. They have 4 fixing points and are compatible with industry standards. These sockets are available in 16/32/50 Amp, stainless steel or plastic resin – in grey, black and white – resistant to high temperatures.

The Smartplug socket is equipped with weatherproof seals that prevent corrosion of the contacts and a safety lock that securely attaches the socket to the back of the connector.

The plug, also made of high-temperature resistant material, is equipped with two spring-loaded stainless steel side levers that make it automatically adhere to the socket and make it very easy to use. Two blue LEDs on the top of the socket indicate the presence of tension.

To meet every need, the cables for connection to the quayside column are available in three different lengths, 12.5, 15.5 and 25 meters.
