The
Salerno Boat Show
opens its doors Nov. 1-5 at Marina d’Arechi, one of the Mediterranean’s largest marinas, with 1,000 berths, located at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.
This year’s fair has a revamped formula of being open continuously for 5 days, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Salerno Boat Show 2023
Everything is ready for the seventh edition of the Salerno Boat Show, scheduled for Nov. 1-5. The venue for the event is the Marina d’Arechi, at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.
The boat show season continues with a must-see event for sea and boat enthusiasts looking for something new. Even more interesting because it is free admission and takes place in southern Italy in a beautiful location.
A show that fans like and grows every year
Now in its 7th edition, the Salerno Boat Show is sponsored by Confindustria Nautica and this year features a revamped formula that includes continuous opening to the public every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. An important and particularly appreciated “upgrade” given the growing success of this show, which now ranks among the most important fairs dedicated to boating in the national panorama.
The numbers of the last edition in this regard speak for themselves: more than 100 exhibitors and 150 boats on display over a total area of 36,000 sq. m. and with 25,000 visitors from 15 Italian regions and 8 countries (Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, UK).
Boat trials at sea, the most anticipated event
Confirmed instead is one of the strengths of the Salerno Boat Show, namely the possibility for the public to carry out sea trials in the inimitable setting of the Gulf overlooking the Amalfi Coast: all tests of boats, sailing cabin cruisers and yachts include qualified mooring assistance and technical support with “just in time” shipbuilding services.
During the official presentation of the 7th Salerno Boat Show held last October in Genoa, the fair’s new logo, inspired by the cosmatesque floor of St. Matthew’s Cathedral, a symbol of the golden age of Salerno’s history dating back to the 12th century, was also unveiled to the public. A beautiful message of unity between different eras, civilizations and cultures. “In a framework of constant growth of the nautical sector,” stressed Agostino Gallozzi, president of Marina d’Arechi SpA, “events such as the Salerno Boat Show represent a valuable moment of aggregation and a great opportunity to support the promotion of territories. Campania is the second region in Italy with the highest number of registered boats and thus drives the growth of the Italian nautical market, of which the South represents almost 40 percent.”
Space also for music, conferences and entertainment
Finally, at the Salerno Boat Show there will be no shortage of entertainment and insightful moments. Starting with the “After Salon” format with live music daily from 6 p.m. at Marina Bistrot. Instead, on Saturday, November 4, at 11 a.m., the conference “The Value of the Italian Sea Economy with an Exclusive Focus on the Campania Region” will be held by Informare, Assonautica Italiana and Blue Forum Italia Network.
