For lovers of maxi-dinghies , fast hulls and versatility, big news is coming from Salpa. Fifteen and a half meters long, cabin cruiser and complete with outdoor lounge areas and an open-air kitchen, comes an extreme boat, complete with everything needed to be usable as a weekender and even a bit more. From such dimensions we expect it. It is the brand new Salpa Soleil 52, outboard-powered and capable of accommodating up to 20 people.

Gritty lines, a center console with integrated hard-top, and stern struts are the first elements that jump out at you when you look at the new Soleil 52, an inflatable boat that is definitely projected toward uses beyond joy-riding, although this is not denied to anyone. The cockpit appears well protected, the wheelhouse shielded from the elements, and the bow high to reduce splashes and wave impacts. A combination that definitely indicates its intended uses, projected toward a small cruise, benefited by the gifts implied in a maxi-rib.

Salpa Soleil 52 – Exterior

Placid days at anchorage, weekend getaways and fast cruises all have one thing in common: comfort. And Salpa responds well with the Soleil 52, offering, thanks to its more than 15 meters in length, spaces and volumes suitable for the most diverse eventualities. What stands out, in terms of pure relaxation, is first and foremost the forward lounge, with a sundeck in the deckhouse, but the intention to offer maximum versatility is also evident aft, where, just beyond the central sundeck, facing sofas offer a convivial space that can also be used as a dining area: double sofas with a central table.

Underscoring the 52’s desire to be a usable maxi-rib even in less-than-excellent weather are the wheelhouse and forward part of the cockpit, protected by the hard top and a wraparound windshield. In the middle of the boat are three ergonomic seats with, behind them, the open air kitchen ideal for cooking whatever you want on board.
