On the occasion of the upcoming boot Düsseldorf 2026, scheduled for January 17-25, the Pesaro-based shipyard will present the world premiere of its latest project, the Santasevera 42. This new model fits into the range by taking up the stylistic language already appreciated on its older sister, the Santasevera 52, and was developed entirely by the pencil of Francesco Guida, designer and founder of the brand. The shipyard is currently at work not only on hull number one, which will take center stage at the German show, but also on two other units already under construction.

Santasevera 42 (12.5 m)

The profile of the Santasevera 42 is distinguished by a streamlined and functional superstructure, specially designed to offer good cockpit protection. The design choice of the “command area” significantly increases the comfort and usability of the boat in different weather conditions, extending its usability.

In fact, the helm station has been placed in a forward position to ensure optimal visibility and, at the same time, maximize the size of the cockpit, which becomes the true heart of life on board. Key features of the deck include a large C-shaped sofa served by a galley unit in the living area, a lounging area set up with two chaise lounges, and, towards the stern, a beach club that integrates sundeck and a large swim platform.

Flexible interior and customizable layout

Below deck, too, the design maintains a flexibility-oriented approach. The forward cabin, served by a so-called day head toilet (for common use by all guests), is designed to be adaptable to the owner’s specific needs. The interior layout can thus be configured to best reflect the sailing style and needs of those who experience the boat, confirming the highly customizable nature of this yacht.

Engines and performance

From a technical point of view, the boat takes advantage of a deep-V hull to ensure safe behavior at sea and on the wave. In terms of propulsion, the shipyard offers three different options: outboard, inboard, and IPS, each available with different power configurations. The unit that will be displayed in Düsseldorf will be equipped with inboard propulsion, entrusted to a pair of 320 hp Volvo Penta D4 engines. With this motorization, the Santasevera 42 can cruise at a cruising speed of 26 knots and reach a top speed of 30 knots.

Santasevera represents a reality of Italian shipbuilding and stands out in the nautical scene for the production of boats that aim to combine the elegance of lines, often inspired by the classic canons of “lobster boats” or goiters revisited in a modern key, with the functional needs of contemporary navigation. The construction philosophy pays special attention to the livability of open spaces and customization, offering products designed for owners seeking a direct link with the sea without sacrificing comfort.
