Bigger, more powerful, more spacious, but still Scanner. Here comes the new flagship, the Scanner Envy 1500, a maxi inflatable boat of more than 15 meters that can be powered by up to 2,400 horsepower. Looking at the first renderings that have been made available, the range seems to have taken another step forward after the Envy 1200 and 1400. Let’s preview the first salient features.

A longilinear profile that then rises to the bow(to have a large owner’s quarters) and combine marine performance with ample interior space. Scanner hulls have this characteristic, it is known. It is surprising from the outset, however, how this time the space on deck seems to be taken to extremes. Starting from the stern, in fact, we face a platform that, outboard or not, is a parade ground. Compounding the large beam, which reaches 4.6 meters, on board it is thus possible to enjoy the sundeck and have a classy private beach in front.
The cockpit configuration is quite classic: after the sundeck we find two opposing settees with a central folding table. The area, partially covered by a hard-top, can also be further protected with an extendable awning.
At the rear base of the roof pillars we find the wet bar area with significant storage volumes, refrigerators, cooking plates and countertops. In the bow, the helm station is protected by a large windshield, and at the foot of the windshield is the second large sundeck.
A young dinghy that, from preliminary images, despite the significant volumes provided below deck, cares to appear with a streamlined, sporty line.
In the bow is a full-width master cabin that, with the typical Scanner bow, should have room to spare. The second, however, is aft and is a guest double. In the middle of the boat, shared by the two cabins, is the convenient toilet room (equipped with a separate shower) and the shared central lounge.
Among the aims of the design of the Scanner Envy 1500, developed by Montemitro Design – Scanner studio, is to offer a maxi rib where for a weekend two couples or a family can spend a pleasant cruise.
Imagine having 2,400 horsepower aft. So many right? Scanner hulls, after all, have accustomed us to excellent performance, and this power is the maximum applicable, probably given by a quad of

A bit many, some might say. We are still at renderings and it is therefore too early to talk, however, it is very likely that even with lower powers 40/45 knots will not be a mirage. The boat of the rest can have both inboard, gasoline and diesel, and outboard engines.
