Seakeeper Ride is the first-and the only-boat trim control system capable of reducing up to 70 percent of pitch and roll when sailing. And today it also becomes available for larger boats, with two new models, 750 and 750 Quad, for boats between 11 and 13 meters (37-42 feet). They join the other three existing models, expanding the range of solutions to offer stability in sailing from 6 meters (19 feet) and up.
Seakeeper Ride
Seakeeper Ride controllers are mounted on the transom, below the waterline, and are compatible with fiberglass and aluminum hulls equipped with one or more engines and cruising speeds greater than 20 knots. Using patented inertial sensing hardware and software, Seakeeper Ride analyzes the boat’s behavior in real time on all three axes, taking 1,000 measurements per second. It predicts movements and responds instantly to eliminate them before they are sensed, without manual adjustments. When the actuators are activated, thanks to 100 adjustments per second they raise the transom, automatically optimizing trim and managing pitch, roll and yaw.
When optional is standard
The revolutionary technology has already won over XO Boats, a Finnish boatyard that is the first in Europe to choose this technology as standard equipment on its entire fleet. The collaboration is an important step for Seakeeper Ride, which is cementing itself as a must-have device for any boat that wants to have cutting-edge technological innovation and unparalleled performance.
Seakeeper Ride 750
The two new models, 750 and 750 Quad, are designed for boats of similar size, between 11 and 13 meters (37-42 feet), but differ in the technical specifications of the controllers and the stern mirrors for which they are intended. The 750, with two larger controllers per system, fits most boats in this size range, while the 750 Quad has four more compact controllers and is designed for boats with distinctive stern mirrors where the hull design may limit the space available for mounting.
Both systems are made with aluminum components, a change from previous products, to ensure greater strength and durability.
