Seaquip - The Mediterranean Yacht And Marine Equipment Trade Fair
Seaquip – The Mediterranean Yacht And Marine Equipment Trade Fair

It is less and less until the start of the first Seaquip (March 4-6 at the Milan Fairgrounds), the B2B exhibition of nautical accessories and components. To date, more than 160 exhibitors have already been confirmed who will have the opportunity to meet at an event dedicated to growth and business opportunities.

A digitized event

The organization structured the event by focusing on the productivity of the trade show experience through the integration of advanced digital tools. In fact, the adoption of Smart Badge Technology enables smooth management of professional contacts: through the Touch & Collect function, visitors and exhibitors can exchange technical and master data information with simple contact between devices. This technological infrastructure will be further enhanced by the release of a dedicated application designed to facilitate the planning of B2B appointments and to keep the network of professional relationships active even after the conclusion of the three-day Milan event.

The themes of the fair

The scientific rigor of the event emerges particularly from the calendar of conferences and technical forums, developed with contributions from influential figures in industry and academia. The issues addressed reflect current industry transitions, starting with the decarbonization of yachting, analyzed in a session coordinated by RINA with the participation of leading powertrain manufacturers such as Volvo Penta, Man and Mtu. Sustainability is also declined through an analysis of production cycles, with specific focus on offshore finishing and carbon fiber composite remanufacturing.

Technological innovation also finds ample space in the area of additive manufacturing and process digitization. Experts from the Milan Polytechnic and representatives of companies specializing in 3D printing will explore concrete applications of these technologies in shipbuilding. In parallel, the evolution of communication models will be examined in an in-depth look at digital marketing, aimed at charting the new routes of commercial positioning in the luxury and yachting market.

The 2027 edition is already launched

The robustness of the Seaquip project, supported by Easyfairs’ international experience, has already led the organization to start planning for the 2027 edition. This choice responds to the need to plan over the long term for a renewed floor plan capable of accommodating growing international demand. In the coming weeks, the road to the March debut will be completed with the presentation of details about the new products, which the main players in the industry will bring to the exhibition.
