The professional boating scene is gearing up for a new appointment on its agenda with the debut of SEAQUIP, the event to be held in Milan from March 4-6, 2026. Although there is still time before the gates open, figures released by the organization show us the confirmed presence of 140 exhibitors and the support of 13 leading partners, while the registration campaign for visitors has exceeded 1,500 registrations from qualified industry professionals in just a few weeks.

SEAQUIP. The success of a strategic vision for the supply chain

The immediate response of the visitor campaign and the participation of the main international players confirm the validity of the formula proposed by Easyfairs Italia. Pier Paolo Ponchia, Managing Director of the organizing company, pointed out that the enthusiasm of the sector is evidenced not only by the numbers, but also by the choice of prestigious shipyards such as Baglietto and Lusben to line up as official supporters. This path of growth is further consolidated by an ever-expanding network of patronage that includes the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Assonautica, UCIF – ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica and, more recently, CNA Nautica, confirming an interest that crosses national boundaries to embrace a global dimension.

A conference program between sustainability and technology

In addition to the exhibition area, SEAQUIP aims to be a laboratory of ideas and a center for technical discussion through a constantly evolving agenda of forums and conferences. Prominent among the central themes is the challenge of decarbonization for yachting, a panel run by RINA that will involve propulsion and components giants such as Volvo Penta, Vulkan, Man and Mtu. The technical discussion will continue with an analysis of finishes and environmental challenges in offshore, by UCIF and ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica, with the participation of realities of excellence such as Savim Europe, Kenosistec and Geico.

The new frontiers of materials production and recycling

Technological innovation will be represented across the board, with a specific focus on additive manufacturing, which is firmly entering nautical construction processes. Experts from Superfici S.c.r.l., 3ntr and academics from the Milan Polytechnic will discuss the practical applications of 3D printing together with yacht designers and specialized companies. In parallel, the theme of circular economy will find its place in the discussion on the regeneration of carbon fiber composites. This specific panel, organized by Herambiente, will analyze the FIB3R plant involving key players such as Sanlorenzo Yacht and the University of Bologna to define the parameters of a truly sustainable nautical supply chain.

SEAQUIP. A unique platform for business and quality

SEAQUIP is thus configured as a platform to stimulate new collaborations between shipyards and suppliers, with an emphasis on construction quality and technical avant-garde. Also contributing to the solidity of the project is the choice of Paola Caccavallo as Brand Ambassador, a well-known figure in the nautical industry for organizing events who will support the team in positioning the event. Thanks to the combination of professional networking and high-level technical content, the Milan event is set to become a reference point for technological development in the international nautical sector.
