Seaquip brings the best of international boating to Milan, hosting a premier B2B exhibition dedicated to the yacht and marine equipment industry. As Italy’s premier event for shipyards, architects and designers, Seaquip will be the ideal platform for industry professionals to make connections, expand their network and present the latest innovations in marine technology.

From March 4, 2026 and for 3 days, the first edition of Seaquip, a fair dedicated to the players in the marine industry, will be held in Milan. From shipyards to boat manufacturers, via architects, engineers and brokers, there will be an opportunity to come into direct contact with decision-makers interested in the latest innovations in marine design and technologies. The idea of holding such an event, which is not a boat show, was born in 2024 to connect as many players as possible and try to create business connections between them.

In addition, the organizers pointed out a shortage of similar events at the European level; Milan was chosen as the venue precisely because it is a focal point for the Italian boating industry (more than 50 percent of marine equipment companies are based in the Lombard metropolis) and, logistically speaking, it is also a very convenient destination. Pier Paolo Ponchia, managing director of Seaquip, told us that to date many have already made this new project theirs, and at the moment there are 66 confirmed exhibitors.

On the sponsorship level, however, major shipyards such as Rossini and Azimut – Benetti are believing in the Seaquip concept and promoting it. The organizers want to make this event an international event, involving public and exhibitors from all over the Mediterranean area. Many industry associations, especially from England and Spain, are also appearing at Seaquip, and they will contribute with meetings and conferences throughout the event; one example above all, the Azimut group will bring its research and development team to the fair, who will show the public what they are creating and the new trends in the nautical sector.

The team that is fine-tuning and creating Seaquip is also looking at other similar events in other fields and would like to involve commercial players from outside the boating world as well, to try to create synergies with other sectors as well, to give verticality to the event and create something that can amaze and engage the audience.
