Selva S.p.A is a family-owned company that has been manufacturing and marketing outboard motors, components and transmissions for marine applications since 1963, both under the Selva brand and as OEM production to customer specifications. The company is structured with a complete in-house production cycle, suitable for the marine environment, which includes every aspect of the process, from aluminum die-casting to machining, assembly, final testing and product packaging. The range of outboard motors covers the entire power range, from 2.5 Hp to the counter-rotating torque of 2 x 300 Hp.
Particularly popular with Selva customers are the XSR versions, available from 25 Hp models up to 300 Hp models. Selva ‘s research and development department created this range by giving it special torque qualities for extremely brilliant response to the action of the rider’s commands, while ensuring incredible economy and fuel efficiency. We have also been marketing package boats with our engines for over 30 years, from inflatable boats outfitted for family and recreational use to fully customizable boats structured for intensive use by those who work at sea, to fiberglass boats in various lines of different configurations and sizes, to tenders. Also of great importance to Selva ‘s Italian distribution network are the ePropulsion electric motors, which include outboards from 500W to 40 kW and inboards from 10 to 100 kW.
