Among the world premieres scheduled for the now approaching Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled for September 10 to 15, a new 60-foot sporty flybridge by Sessa Marine will also be unveiled for enthusiasts.
Sleek in lines, 17.93 meters long and fast up to 32 knots, the new addition to the range is called the Sessa F60, a cruising sport-yacht with three double cabins, space for 6/8 people to stay overnight, and large outdoor lounge areas to enjoy the sea on any occasion and in any context.
Ahead of its debut in French waters, here is a preview.
Sessa Marine F60 | Preview
Sporty look, important windows to cut the broadside, large leaps and flybrdige not indifferent… the new Sessa F60 presents itself from the outset as a boat that wants to both know how to satisfy the sporty nature and offer the necessary for comfort and cruising.
The latter part well demonstrated by the layout on board, which looks in no small part at occasions for relaxation as well as those dedicated to conviviality, whether these are outdoors or sheltered from the elements.
A pair of Volvo Penta IPS, on the other hand, will offer good regimes to her guests’ cruising, with a cruising speed of 24 knots and 32 knots maximum speed.
Sessa Marine F60 – Exterior
One thing becomes clear when approaching the exterior layout of the new Sessa F60: so much attention has been given to the development of usable areas on deck.
Indicative of this, first of all, are the available lounge and sundeck spaces, divided between stern, bow and fly, but always present.
The first of these, coming aboard, is obviously the aft sundeck, jutting out toward the beach area below and particularly generous in size.
Made cantilevered, and thus raised above the plane of the swim platform and steps leading to the cockpit, it easily accommodates as many as three people, offering, on its forward side, a backrest shared with a sofa facing a table.
Area, the latter, defining the convivial spaces in front of the salon instead.
Forward, again looking at the lounge spaces, Sessa Marine proposes a further solution with a sundeck, raised above the deck and accompanied by a sofa recessed to the windshield, thus creating an additional area dedicated to conviviality and relaxation.
The real highlight, however, is on the flybridge, where, in addition to the classic elevated wheelhouse, a real sitting area finds its place.
Partially protected by hard-top, and complete with wet-bar, this is populated with additional sundecks, sofas and tables, creating a terrace on the sea to be enjoyed in any context.
Interior
Shifting the focus to “enclosed volumes,” the new F60 shows a classic sport-yacht layout, with an open-space salon on the deck, complete with galley, lounge area, and wheelhouse.
However, it is below deck that the space dedicated more specifically to cruising life comes to life, with 3 cabins offering up to 6 berths. A large full-beam master stateroom occupies the aft section of the sleeping area, with private toilet, sofa area and dressing room.
Forward, a VIP double takes advantage of the full beam, in turn complete with private toilet.
Concluding the volumes are a shared lavatory and a twin bedded stateroom, as well as the sailor’s cabin, aft, itself equipped with a bathroom for personal use.
Motorization
To conclude, in terms of motorization the F60 will be equipped with a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 950s served by 2,100 liters of fuel tank.
The cruising speed that the shipyard indicates is equivalent to 24 knots, with 32 knots, however, as the peak top speed.
