The emblematic boat of the new generation of Sessa Marine is coming with a very interesting model: the Sessa Key Largo 40. What was originally intended to be the Key Largo 37 has become a 40-footer, as we saw at Boot from DĂĽsseldorf 2020.

It will be the flagship of the yard’s “best seller” range with a completely new design and a very interesting top speed: 55 knots with an outboard engine. The date of the debut has not yet been revealed, but we hope to see it in the water for next autumn’s boat shows.

Sessa Key Largo 40, the new generation

This new model includes a completely redesigned hull, which helps increase performance and optimize consumption, and can reach a maximum speed of 55 knots.

The layout of the boat has been structured with a modular cockpit, convertible sofas and two electro-hydraulic side terraces, which give guests even larger and more livable spaces, directly in contact with the sea. The large panoramic side windows, on the hull, allow natural light below deck, with an enviable view: a real window to the sea.

To give the boat an even more aggressive look, the Centrostiledesign design studio, together with the shipyard, decided to opt for a sporty carbon fibre T-top: thanks to the material used, it is possible to significantly reduce the weight of this component while maintaining the same rigidity.

When Alfa Romeo built superfast motorboats

Probably not everyone knows about Alfa Romeo’s foray into the world of powerboating. Or rather, powerboat racing. We relived it by visiting the beautiful museum in Arese, near Milan, Md, which traces the history of the automaker founded in 1910
