Sasga Menorquin 35

We grew fond of this gem during the onboard test, done in Barcelona. A connoisseur’s gem that comes from a yard that keeps well away from the wear and tear of modern boats. The new Menorquin 35 is a vessel. Already this, climbing aboard, is news because there seems to be a lot more space. Other highlights? It is rated for 12 people in Class A, has two cabins and six berths, a generous beam (3.8 meters) and great range. In short, you can go absolutely anywhere on a cruise with this one. Marex 440

When on a Marex you immediately feel the great build quality of these hulls. They are true homes on the water, ideal for living a day as well as a month aboard. The Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser is among the shipyard’s latest additions and is a 13.7-meter for going to sea year-round. Indoor and outdoor spaces are plentiful, but apart from the bow sundeck tend to be protected. Created by VOM Creations Yacht Design studio and, on the naval architecture side, by Nikl Design and Engineering by Alpha Creations, she will be available in two distinct versions: Gourmet Cruiser and Scandinavian. What changes? The deck layout and the below-deck layout that can sleep up to six and three cabins. Read the full article to learn more

Northman 1300

Versatile, out of the box, and attractively priced. Designed for cruising with family or friends, it is called the Northman 1300 and is an absolute novelty on the Italian market. It is in fact a trawler with large interior volumes and original deck layout development. Also with both two- and three-cabin layouts, it focuses on abundant space and heights approaching two meters. If desired, two more berths can be had by lowering the dinette table on the main-deck. Total: eight beds. Read the full article to learn more

Siren 48 (also Hybrid)

To really understand this boat you have to get on board. The Sirena 48 (from this year also in hybrid version) we can describe it like this: a yacht to go anywhere without the need for a crew with everything you need to live comfortably on board. The standard of quality on board is very high because Sirena is a shipyard specializing in superyachts and the 48-footer is the “baby” of this shipyard. It is an owner-friendly boat to let go of your moorings and give yourself over to long sailings. Read the full article to learn more

Swift Trawler 54

What more can we tell you about Beneteau’s trawlers? This iconic range from the French shipyard in recent times has undergone a period of major transformation. How do you mean? Since the birth of the Grand Trawler 62, the shipyard has changed some styles, and the brand new Swift Trawler 54 embodies them to perfection. More than a cruiser, she is a globetrotter with deck and flybridge space for exteriors and, more importantly, interiors. The layout includes a full-beam central master and two staterooms (with shared bathroom) plus a crew cabin. Read the full article to learn more

Balt

This year in Italy, boats from the Balt shipyard appeared and were a great success. They are the Balt 37 Grand and the SunCamper 35. Looking for a first cruising boat, even “without a license”? Of course, you don’t have to have speed ambitions, indeed, but that goes without saying. These two hulls are born for those who want to spend long periods on board without spending an exaggeration and with all in all low running costs. Read the full article to learn more
