The market for motor boating is rich and vast. There are many models on as many price, use and size ranges. Navigating through the various options and boats available can become complicated, so we have compiled for you a list of six 15-meter boats to suit all tastes.
Six boats in the 15-meter range for all tastes and uses
From the maxi-Rib to the most comfortable cruiser, from catamaran to walkaround, via dinghies and sports boats, here is a review of 15-meter boats from the past 6/8 months capable of meeting a wide range of needs. In short, there is plenty to indulge in fantasies while waiting for summer.

Beneteau Swift Trawler 48 – 14.74 m
A great Beneteau classic, the Swift Trawler range is populated with boats designed for big cruising, and among them, the Swift Trawler 48 is one of the latest additions to the segment. Nearly 15 meters long (14.74 LOA) and 4.50 meters wide, with its three double cabins and an optional double berth in the salon, this boat actually sleeps up to 8, making it more than usable for anyone who wants to make long sailing their lifestyle. Everything on board is designed to create a comfortable and easy space, even for long stays, and the same can be said of the motorization: as many as 2 engines of 380 horsepower or 425, served by a fuel tank of more than 1930 liters.
Regarding the cabins, the forward master cabin offers a double berth, while the port guest cabin, in turn, offers two berths, here, however, offered as singles, but convertible into a double. To starboard, the third cabin is complete with a double transverse berth and a double-door closet. Finally, if needed, the dinette converts into a double bed. Regarding living spaces, on the other hand, Trawler 48 offers a salon on the main deck, complete with galley, dining/sitting area, and wheelhouse. Then, a cozy cockpit extends the interior area outward and, at the bow, a double sundeck. On the flybridge, served by wheelhouse, kitchen cabinet and outdoor lounge.

Prestige M48 – 14.79 m
Debuted in late 2022, the Prestige M48 is Prestige’s first motor catamaran, as well as the firstborn of the M-Line. Approximately 14.79 meters long, it immediately reveals itself to be a well-designed catamaran, with ample attention to on-board comfort, including hull and performance. The child of the collaboration between Camillo Garroni, Philippe Briand and Valentina Militerno de Romedis, the M48 offers an area of about 130 square meters and proves capable of well optimizing the spaces on board, thus lending itself as a ‘second home’ for those who will become its owners. The interior layout varies from 3 to 4 cabins, plus one for the crew, thus accommodating between 6 and 8 guests. Each cabin is served by a private bathroom with a shower stall. Rounding out the interior is then a large salon on the main deck, complete with wheelhouse, living/lounge area and galley.
Coming to the exteriors, on the other hand, the aft platform converts into a tenderlift, beach club, or garage for dinghy and water toys; the cockpit in turn offers ample space, as well as access to the fly, complete with convivial and designated relaxation areas. Finally, in the bow, another space with sofas and seating welcomes guests. In terms of engines, the M48 features 2 volvo D4 V-Drives with 320 horsepower, for top speeds near 20 knots.

De Antonio D50 Coupe – 14.90 m
Debuted in early 2023, De Antonio Yachts’ D50 Coupe reflects much of its predecessor D50 Open, especially in terms of livability, but brings with it a more enveloping superstructure around the helm station, thanks to which the boat is suitable for even more demanding sailing. It is therefore not pure cruiser, but a step toward a way of experiencing the boat that is not strictly “summer,” leaving more freedom of use for the owner. In fact, with this protection around the driving position, a kind of interior area is created, protected on the sides as well, which does not affect the exterior spaces and at the same time provides shelter in case of unfavorable conditions. Below deck, the “basic” layout consists of a forward master stateroom, a bathroom with a separate toilet complete with shower stall, and a full-beam “U-shaped” dinette that can be converted into a double bed by sliding the small table positioned in the center.

New boats. Technohull Omega 48 – 14.95 m
Greek shipyard Technohull unveils a new monster dinghy, theOmega 48, which also renews the philosophy that characterized its predecessors Omega 44 and 47, taking it further. It is a 15-meter maxi-rib equipped with five outboard motors of 450 horsepower each (total 2,250 hp) or two or three outboards of 600 horsepower (1,200 to 1,800 hp in all). A remarkable fireball, however, which is not limited to performance. In terms of layout, everything on deck focuses on maximum usability of relaxation and convivial areas on board.
In the bow is a lounge area with sundeck, just in front of the glass windshield while, in the stern, a back-to-back sofa with mini bar (or fully equipped wet bar) overlooks an additional sundeck in the cockpit, hiding the double-opening tender garage, also good for water toys as well as a small tender. Finally, the helm station is served by double row of triple shock-absorbing wraparound seats and, as part of the center of the boat, is sheltered by an aerodynamic hardtop. Below deck, despite not being a cruiser, we find a full double cabin with storage space and a separate bathroom with shower.

FIM 470 Regina – 15.10 m
With the fall 2022 Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi (FIM) introduced the new FIM 470 Regina, a 15-meter boat designed to maximize outdoor spaces. A versatile project, strong in different structural shifts capable of varying the uses of its different components. In the bow, for example, the sundeck creates a true cockpit thanks to a lateral shift, but the fold-down stern bulwarks also allow for spaces that at first glance would have been unthinkable. In addition, the double aft sundeck can be split, splitting and moving outward to create a large central area, ideal for cocktails and parties on board.
Below deck then, up to six berths can be found, integrated into very well-kept and spacious interiors. Looking at propulsion, the FIM 470 Refina is made available in two different engines, a 480-horsepower pair, or a 600-horsepower pair, allowing the boat to touch even 39 knots, promising remarkable performance and comfort.

New boats. Pirelli 50 Tecnorib – 15.20 m
Also from 2022 is the new Pirelli 50 Tecnorib, flagship RIB of the brand’s walkarounds, which already boasts two best-selling inflatables: the Pirelli 42 and the Pirelli 35. This model, precisely 50 feet, complements upward the offerings of this family of inflatable boats by again declining the features that made the first two famous. As with the previous two inflatable boats, the strengths on this 15-meter boat remain deck roominess and performance. It is worth noting right away that, just as in previous projects, the two-step hull was designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team.
Although it was born as a day boat or as a super-yacht support, given its size even inside, the new Pirelli 50 is also suitable for mid-range cruising thanks to its two double cabins below deck. Outside, on the other hand, sundecks fore and aft, sofas and meal area, complete with wet-bar. Performance? Suffice it to say that it makes 50 knots!
