With the growing demand for electric hulls, and with the increasing performance they are now increasingly able to offer, it is not surprising that the power boating landscape is also moving to meet these new needs. Sialia Yachts unveils the new Sialia 45 Sport, a sporty day cru iser (and cabin cruiser) 13.7 meters long and capable of top speeds in excess of 44 knots. The first model will be officially launched with the opening shows of the 2025 season.

Designed by Denis Popov Design Studio, the shipyard’s new 13.7-meter vessel in fact boasts dual motors up to 300 kW, with flexible battery packs between 300 and 700 kWh. A combination that allows peak speeds above 40 knots, but also a remarkable range, with up to 160 nautical miles indicated on cruising regimes.
Sialia 45 Sport – Blanket and Layout
Lines and design are the first element that jumps out at you when facing the new Sialia 45 S, undoubtedly contemporary in look, sleek and strong with clean lines and balanced volumes. In fact, the near-vertical foredeck, deckhouse with sunpad recessed into the bridge, and hard top blend perfectly with each other, designing a complex that is balanced both in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics, with a walkaround setting that fully emphasizes its dayboat enjoyment. But going aft, Salia shows that it has gone further, developing a versatile platform that can adapt to different needs.
In fact, in a first case, just behind the ergonomic triple seat serving the wheelhouse, a second row of seats is proposed for three additional guests, a solution that, moreover, implements a bar top in the backrest, facing the cockpit. In this version, the cockpit then kicks off with a large sofa served as a table but usable as a sundeck, mirrored aft by an additional sofa facing the beach area.
It is perhaps with the second layout, however, that Sialia offers its 45S in a version even more intended for conviviality, sacrificing the second row of seats in favor of a different set-up that prioritizes comfort and lounging in the sun. In the cockpit, in fact, a large sundeck overlooks the beach area, while a pair of sofas instead engages the central cockpit spaces, creating a circular space served by a coffee table. Here, the piano bar is integrated with the first row of seating. In either case, both versions include the Rigid Top to protect the center section of the spaces, offering the opportunity to shield the rest of the hull from the sun with an additional bimini system.
Deck and Layout
Being, however, a 45-footer, the Sialia 45 S is not a pure dayboat. The deck looks yes to comfort and typical uses of the day spent at sea, but the volumes offer more versatility, in fact offering considerable interior space as well. Indeed, below deck we find a forward dinette with V-shaped sofas that can also be used as berths, while a central hallway offers a countertop with sink, opposite the toilet room. Aft, depending on configuration, one or two additional bunks are on board, making the Sialia 45 S yes a day-cruiser, usable, however, also as a weekender.
Motorization and performance
Coming to the performance front, the options offered by the site vary widely depending on the combinations chosen. In fact, the new 45S will see a variable pair of electric motors installed, on 150 or 300 kW power bases. On these, then, will influence the options given by the different battery packs, available in 300, 500 and 700 kWh. Options that already, in and of themselves, imply speed ranges fluctuating between 30+ and 40+ knots, with ranges of 33 to 77 nautical miles at 25 knots.
Sialia also offers two additional options, the Range and Range Endurance, capable of further improving range and performance, bringing it to 124 and 164 nautical miles of range, respectively.
