Sirena Yachts
is expanding with three new warehouses in Yalova, Turkey, where the brand’s production will be implemented starting with superyachts such as the 42 Steel. It is the latest addition that comes after 124 yachts have been built to date since 2017. If we put them in a row, one after another, the “column” would reach a length of more than 9,000 feet (2,743 meters).

Sirena Yachts: continued growth

The development of Sirena Yachts over the years has been impressive. A period marked by double-digit annual growth, despite the young age of the brand, which is not even ten years old. Behind it, after all, is the Turkish giant Kıraça Holding, and the range is one of the most diverse on the market from sailing to motor through superyachts. Steady and regular demand has prompted Sirena to focus on new plants to meet the demands.

“We want to be the shipyard of choice,” explains Ali Onger, COO of the company. able to meet the needs of customers from the Siren 48 upwards. The big brands no longer build such small boats, but someone has to be able to provide boats that allow customers to start their boating journey. In this way, we can provide the right yacht for every stage of the customer’s nautical life.”

This success, no doubt, should also be attributed to the choice of designers with whom Sirena collaborates. German Frers, Cor D. Rover, Luca Vallebona and Hot Lab are among the leading names who have signed off on the site’s designs.

What will be built by Sirena in Yalova (Turkey)

The area is well known as an important center for commercial shipbuilding, the right hinterland for superyachts such as 42 Steel, given the production processes required. “Hot steel processing,” said Ali Onger . such as cutting, bending and welding, will be performed by on-site subcontractors. We will also do the interior layout and arrangement here. The main advantage is that we will be able to launch our growing range of large yachts directly from the production halls, without having to transport them to the seashore.”

The shipyards of Sirena Marine

The main factory is a 155,000-square-meter complex where the “smaller” yachts such as the 48, 58, 68 and 78 are built. For the latter two, in order to keep the draft low and navigate more smoothly under some infrastructure, final outfitting is done at another location in Yalova.

A special yacht for the shipyard is definitely the flagship of the range: the
Sirena 88
. There is a site in Tuzla dedicated exclusively to this model, which cannot be transported by land. The construction hall is “monstrous” in size with up to four 88s that can be made at the same time: three in the molding stage and one in the set-up stage.
