Beneteau Flyer 9

Small cruisers, manoeuvrable and efficient, big enough for sailing in a dry and comfy ambience and to stay at sea for a weekend. This size of boat has been enriched in 2020 with new luxurious models with sleek lines for fast sailing. Very versatile, they also have spaces below deck for overnight stays.

Motor boats: 5 new boats up to 9 metres to choose from now

Beneteau Flyer 9

The boat has a standard overall length of around 8.30 metres, but with the stern and side platform on port it exceeds 9 metres. From six generations of experience, the yard has managed to improve on its shortcomings, while also developing some new features: for example, the Beneteau Flyer 9 is equipped with folding bulwarks.
With a pair of Suzuki 250-horsepower outboards, this motorboat is designed to be fun to sail.
Functional and ergonomic, the Flyer 9 features an impressive modularity that allows it to meet all the yachtsmen’s needs: sunbathing, hanging out with friends or fishing.
The cabin offers a level of comfort unexpected on an open hull. The spacious interior includes two berth and a bathroom with WC. A real feat for an open hull: the Flyer 9 SPACEdeck can accommodate 4 people for a night on board.

Dromeas D28 SUV

In an interesting and dynamic segment such as that of boats comes this interesting novelty from Dromeas Yachts. The Dromeas D28 SUV, in a fully enclosed version – which is joined by the Dromeas D28 WA, a walk-around – has a very interesting estimated price for the hull (without engines and VAT) of € 42,720 for the SUV version.

The new D28 SUV is based on a double-step deep-V hull designed by Adam Younger. It is possible to install one or two outboards, with which it can reach speeds of over 50 knots, with cruising at over 30 knots. A wide range of layout options are available. It comes standard with a forward cabin, which can accommodate two people, sunbed in the bow and other equipment.

The boat for all conditions and needs. An 8-metre cruiser in pocket size, for the whole family. The Dromeas D28 SUV has 2 to 4 berths on board, also thanks to the central cabin. The D28 SUV offers dry cruising in all weather conditions, with its highly protected central cabin, double side doors and the opportunity to dine under cover by converting to an additional double berth. The aft cockpit can still be converted into an area for alfresco dining or even fishing.

Mimì Libeccio 8.5 Classic

The style of the Libeccio 8.5 Classic is, as its name suggests, a call to the past. Its design is a tribute to the Sorrentine gozzo of the 1960s, where the charm of tiller steering meets the latest technological innovations. It is no coincidence that this gozzo Mimì can reach 20 knots.

The result is a classic gozzo with all the advantages of modern technology. There is an electric winch, courtesy lights and plexiglass panels as a backdrop to the steps leading to the bow sundeck.

In addition to the spacious double cabin that extends to the bow, there is also an outside kitchen complete with sink, hob and fridge. In addition, the Libeccio 8.50 cabin has a separate toilet.

LOA: 8.50 m – B.max: 2.50 m – Weight: 3.000 kg – Passengers: 8 persons – Berths: 2 – Max speed: 25–30 knts – Engine: 195–250 HP– INFO: gozzimimi.it

Ranieri 285 LX

The new Next 285 LX from Ranieri International is an open yacht with modern lines and deck layout, designed to enjoy the sea in total comfort.

The Next 285 LX represents a further leap forward for the Soverato yard in the world of sundeck yachts. In just 8.80 metres (and 7.98 metres in homologation) the yard has managed to concentrate everything you need for a weekend boat.

At the extreme bow, in front of the wheelhouse, we find a large, comfortable full-beam sun deck. Aft in the cockpit, eight people can be seated thanks to the folding seats and the foldaway electric table can be easily transformed into an extra-large sundeck.

In front of the cockpit there is a structure that houses the sink and the cooker at the rear and a large icebox at the front. A large seat with two boolster systems is installed in the bow. This allows the pilot and co-pilot to navigate sitting or standing.

As if that wasn’t enough space on this 8-metre yacht, there’s also room for up to four people in the cabin in two separate areas. Of course, there is also space for a toilet.

There is horizontal glazing on the sides that incorporates the cabin portholes, while the semi-vertical bow is in line with the new water lines of the hull.

LOA: 8.80 m – B.max: 2.85 m – Engine: max 2×300 outboards – Max Speed: 48 knots – INFO: www.ranieri-international.com

You can read the full sea trial on MotorBoats magazine avaible in printed and digital edition.

Axopar 28 Cabin

The Axopar 28 Cabin is a sporty cabin motorboat in just 8 and a half metres. Cruises, outings with friends or weekends exploring the coastline: Axopar’s philosophy is to make “young” powerboats for dynamic pleasure boaters.

The Axopar 28 Cabin opens up a world of possibilities for extended trips and longer average travel times, with the possibility of accommodating up to five people in a light and airy environment, completely protected from the weather.

The cabin offers sleeping accommodation for two. Above the cab is a full-length, manually sliding Webasto canvas roof. Large, side-opening doors on both sides provide plenty of natural light and ventilation.

The dashboard has been completely changed. A company decision brought Simrad electronics on board and the entire wheelhouse has been redesigned. The instrumentation is now on a single plane, all touch screen.

The Axopar 28 Cabin has an enlarged cockpit and stern deck. This allows easy access to the water and easier boarding and disembarking. The bow anchor has a new winch and new structure.

LOA: 8.74 m – B.max: 2.95 m – Weight (excl. engine): 1.940 kg – Engine: 200–400 HP outboards – Max Speed: 32-46 knots – Passengers: 6–9 persons – Berths: 2 persons – INFO: www.axopar.fi
