The first Heron 38 is already a boat that goes against the grain. It is not only in line that it recalls, above the waterline to the Heron 56, progenitor of the brand. It is also the fact that the development process of this boat is proceeding slowly to give the shipyard a way to get as perfect a boat as possible, worked in detail by master craftsmen.

The first Heron 38: so it’s taking shape

At this time – states Roberto Bello, CEO of Heron Yacht our priority is not to get to the launching of the first unit quickly. Our path is different and is expressed through the passion with which we pursued this new project. For us, the boat must have a soul that is identified through an emotion. I put myself at the center of the project by imagining the desire of an owner on this type of hull. For this reason, we reworked our beliefs, and the site’s choices went in the direction of getting as close to perfection as possible by employing personnel who could provide us with above-average craftsmanship. Of course, this way the time is longer, but for us it is important to convey a certain kind of message, the line is craftsmanship at the highest level to create a unique product. To do this, in my view, requires feeling, passion and time“.

Heron 38, what it looks like

The Heron 38 is conceived with water lines that are designed to take advantage of the different propulsions provided. The first Heron 38 will be equipped with outboard motors. Compared to the Heron 56, the novelty at the technical level is the inclusion of hydrodynamic support skids in the living work from amidships to aft precisely to facilitate gliding and harness the power of the engines.

There is no change in the shapes of the hull above the waterline, which share the style with which the shipyard had entered the market. The boat, built to be weight-optimized, has led to an increase in speed and range. The study of the volume of the interior was hard to give practical solutions that take advantage of interior volume to the millimeter, an effort aimed at creating that added value that is difficult to find on yachts of similar size.

The standard version includes a cabin with a double bed, separate bathroom with integrated shower. The optional version provides two more small beds below the deck at the driving area.
