More and more boat owners are deciding to install a stabilization system on their boat that will keep the boat stable while underway.
Among the most popular systems are Zipwake’s Interceptors trim correctors, with the S Series for boats up to 50 feet and the E Series for boats over 100 feet.
Now Zipwake is introducing a new system to make integration with multifunctionals and smartphone and tablet apps even easier: theIntegrator Module. Here’s how it works.
Comprehensive integration
The new module installs directly on the bridge, behind the wheelhouse, or in the engine room.
TheIntegrator Module comes with a special Ethernet connector collar that allows a standard Ethernet cable to be easily sealed to the module, so it is completely waterproof.
This solution allows for complete integration with MFPs, avoiding the need to install dedicated control panels on the bridge.
Just the connection through a single cable is enough to connect the device with the multifunction display you have installed on board.
Up to three different Zipwake control panels can be connected to the module, such as touch screen or bezel panels.
In addition, thanks to theCAN interface, an additional external screen can also be connected.
Zipwake. Everything at your fingertips
The Integrator Module also allows you to connect to the system with your smartphone or tablet through the Zipwake app.
This option allows you to configure, operate, monitor, and update the system from anywhere on the boat, extremely easily and most importantly wirelessly.
