The boat will be on display at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, January 18–26, 2020—the first boat show of the new year—in Hall 5, booth 5A21.
The Solaris Power 48 Open offers a range of features unique in the day cruiser category: it is the only open boat with a walkaround deck and the below-deck space of a high-deck boat.
It can cruise at both low displacement speeds and top speeds exceeding 35 knots, unlike conventional planing hulls.
It guarantees absolute comfort and safety even in rough seas, and the hull’s shape provides excellent inherent stability while at anchor.
The interior layout is available in a 2-cabin configuration with 2 bathrooms, plus a crew cabin with a bathroom. A second layout option, however, features a single cabin to provide an interior living area, as is typically preferred by owners from Northern Europe or the United States.
But this yacht, the Solaris Power 48 Open, has other distinctive features, such as the two fold-out side decks, which, when open, increase the cockpit area by 20%, and the tender garage, which also serves as a large storage area.
The engine room of the Solaris Power 48 Open houses two Volvo Penta engines with IPS 600 or 650 transmissions: the latter option is capable of propelling the boat to speeds exceeding 35 knots. However, when cruising at an average speed of 20 knots, the range is approximately 300 miles.
