The new Solaris Power 70, first in the Long Range series (a 60′ and an 80′ coming soon) from the Italian shipyard, offers large volumes, comfort and distinctive elegance. Let’s immediately analyze the key points of the new 70-footer (21.24 m), starting with on-board amenities.
Solaris Power 70, the on-board amenities
The ideal proportions between the spaces on deck and those below deck allow guests to move about as best they can and enjoy every moment of life on board. Large glass surfaces ensure uninterrupted contact with the sea at every position on the boat, while outside, protection from the sun is provided by large shaded areas. Life in the cockpit could not be more comfortable.
All the comforts of the beach area
The aft bridge is extraordinarily wide and provides extremely easy access to the sea, whether in the raised or semi-submerged position. The aft cockpit and beach area are the real focus of the New Solaris 70 Long Range, which offers its guests a combination of far-reaching enjoyability and comfort.
Bow lounge
In the bow, the large forward-facing horseshoe-shaped sofa is contrasted with a sofa carved into the sundeck. The two seats can be connected via the extendable table, thus providing a convivial relaxation surface, enjoyed to the fullest at anchor.
Walkaround
Thanks to the walkaround layout, the easy-to-walk side walks with a comfortable width of 0.70 meters offer safety and freedom of movement from bow to stern in all sea conditions and are very safe for children. On the starboard side amidships, it is possible as an option to open a portion of the folding bulwark to make a terrace overlooking the sea.
Flybridge
The fly covers more than 40 square meters and offers three living areas. In the stern is a vast sundeck with 4 seats, in the middle is a second dining area with a 2-meter table that can seat 8 diners, and in the bow is the pilot station in front of which extends another sunbathing area protected by the windshield.
These spaces can be customized according to the owner’s needs.
Large tender garage
The aft garage can accommodate a 4-meter water-jet tender arranged longitudinally and served by the beach area’s bridge movement. Its size allows it to stow several water toys.
Solaris Power 70, behavior at sea
How will the new Solaris Power 70 sail? The sea behavior of Solaris boats has always been the property of the shipyard, which has always invested significant resources to maximize the factors that determine it.
These are the benefits that investments and studies offer to the owner and his guests:
- The new Solaris 70’s starry, deep, flared bow with convex section provides a very smooth transition over the wave and keeps the deck dry and splash-free at all times.
- Its hull offers exceptional stability under sail, even in rough seas, which it maintains even at anchor without the need for gyro stabilizers.
- The qualities of the hull, thanks to the thorough study of the water lines, combined with the Volvo IPS engine, ensure low fuel consumption and consequently a long range, exceeding 600 miles at cruising speed.
- The characteristics of the hull ensure efficient, roll-free sailing in all conditions, both in glide and displacement trim at low speeds.
