Solaris Power will present the world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, January 17-25, of its new flagship: 70 Long Range, which inaugurates the range of the same name. Designed for an owner who wants to travel long range, the key words of this project are: volumes, comfort and elegance. A motoryacht that aims to combine great livability, autonomy and, above all, phenomenal seaworthiness, a trademark of Solaris hulls.

Solaris Power 70 Long Range

The design, by the Dragoni Design Lab studio, assisted by the Solaris Power Design Team, was created with the idea of maximizing exterior and interior spaces while maintaining the soft lines to which Solaris has accustomed us. The proportions between deck and below deck are designed to allow guests to move around naturally, while large glass surfaces maintain visual contact with the sea from every area of the boat. Outside, large shaded areas protect from the sun without enclosing spaces, reinforcing the cruise vocation of the 70 Long Range.

Maximum livability

The heart of life aboard is in the stern. The bridge, which can also be used in a semi-submerged position, is simply enormous. From there, you climb 3 floating steps and reach the cockpit, the social hub of the boat. The yard is proud in asserting that it is the largest cockpit of any 70-footer. It takes advantage of the entire 6-meter beam and accommodates 2 opposing sofas and a 6-person table. In fact, the bay window that marks the beginning of the salon is almost halfway up the boat. There are no stairs to the fly: just space. To go up to the raised deck, one must enter the salon, where the galley and living area are located, which can open directly to the sea by opening the side window on the starboard side and breaking down the bulwark, creating a deep terrace, breaking down the boundaries between interior, exterior and sea.

The flybridge follows the same space layout, with over 40 m² of useful space, divided into sundeck, dining area and wet bar, all sheltered by a hardtop that makes it truly livable without weighing down the line. Finally, walking through safe, high and wide walkways, the offspring of the walkaround layout, we reach the bow, where we find a large horseshoe-shaped settee forward and a second settee carved out of the sundeck, which can be joined by means of an extendable table to create a single relaxation area at anchor.

Below deck, three possible configuration choices, between three and four cabins. The standard one, features a large full-beam master cabin amidships. It is separated from the engine room by as many as two levels: a first barrier given by the crew quarters and a second by the private bathroom and walk-in closet, to ensure maximum quietness. In the bow is the guest cabin, and in the middle is a third double cabin with private bathroom and a space that can be configured, for example, as a small cabin with pullman beds or as an open bathroom.

Navigability remains a mainstay

On the sailing front, Solaris Power continues the tradition of being a great hull builder, achieved through years of research and investment. 70 Long Range represents the summa: the “starry” bow, deep and flared with a convex section, is designed to offer smooth passage over the wave and keep the deck dry. The hull ensures high stability both when underway and at anchor, and works in synergy with Volvo Penta IPS engines to contain fuel consumption and increase range: over 600 miles at cruising speed.
