A historical name is making a return to the Italian nautical scene: Solemar. The brand that made its cream-colored cabin cruiser inflatable boats famous around the world chooses 2023 for the relaunch. Behind it, clearly, is a major effort in economic terms by a group of entrepreneurs from Bergamo who have invested in the molds, the ideas for these new hulls, and the people who will make them.

Solemar, cream-colored cabin cruisers return

The market for inflatable boats has been in turmoil for several years now, especially on the larger sizes, where Solemar has always been a major player. Fall 2023 will see the arrival of 3 new models from 8.5 meters up to 11 meters: theSX27, SX30 and SX34. They are precisely all from the SX line, i.e., the brand’s more “offshore” line, which will have vessels more geared toward daily use with layouts designed to optimize space. Plans for 2024 will also be unveiled from this launch, which will surely already include a 10-meter, four-berth cabin cruiser, which has always been the brand’s flagship model. This will, most likely, fit into the SE line, which stands for Solemar Elegance, that is, the line dedicated to cabin cru isers designed to offer additional comfort for, for example, medium-short cruises with family or friends.

Solemar SX34

As of now, there is not much information available about this inflatable boat, but as can be seen from the image already released, it can be seen that the SX34 is a modern 11-meter, Mediterranean lifestyle-oriented boat, which, however, retains the typical styles that have made the Solemar brand famous around the world. Regardless of the colors, the soft lines and bold inflatable appearance also remain cornerstones of the design. From the image, it also seems clear that there is a desire to make the deck as livable as possible, but at the same time protected and safe, particularly with regard to the aft cockpit.

In short, Solemar is back and aims to take back a slice of the market by making fans of the genre dream.
