Refit Style

Refit Style has really intrigued us with a new product that promises to be very interesting. The Trieste-based company (which distributes Permateek synthetic coating in Italy) comes up with a bet. Together with Sika, he has developed a project involving the application of a self-levelling resin, which is most commonly used in passenger ships, also in the boating industry.

Refit Style

“We get the resin in liquid form, in tin,” explains Mirco Gazzato of Refit Style, “so we create the ‘casting’ and go to milling with CNC machines creating the design.”

This means maximum customization possibilities: “There are no limits, it’s like having a blank slate. Any kind of design and shape. Depending on the requirements we can create different thicknesses, even of the boulders, or reinforced boulders with aluminum core for added safety.”

Here’s what Mirco told us in the video you can also find at the Refit Style booth in the accessories pavilion at Milan Yachting Week – the digital Boat Show.
