Spirit Yachts presents the new P50 model in two versions: Coupe and Sport. The first example will be launched in spring 2026.
British shipyard Spirit Yachts, based in Ipswich, Suffolk, presents its new motor yacht: P50. The new yacht adds to the yard’s motor yacht range. The yard has been producing sailing yachts since 1993, built using Spirit’s RCD Category B-certified wood construction method. Now the builder thought to listen to the market and create a motor boat as well.
The exterior design started with the profile, with numerous sketches to find the best proportions for the final layout. Line is a hallmark of every Spirit, and the P50 is no exception: she features an elegant profile that gently descends, starting with a vertical bow and ending in an inverted stern. This discreetly recalls the classic lines of yachts of the past, while the curve of the stern quickly evolves into a modern, dynamic shape that incorporates the swim platform: vintage and modern coexist arm in arm on the P50.
On the P50 Coupe, the structural mast is integrated into the mainmast. Steps down from the main deck lead to an open galley and open plan interior salon. Up to four people can be accommodated below deck, with a double guest cabin and a master cabin with ensuite bathroom arranged forward. There is also a separate day bath for guests’ use.
The P50 Sport is designed for warmer climates and beachfront living. The differences from its sister Coupe lie mainly in the outdoor living area. On the Sport version, in fact, the boat has a larger bathing platform and an open-air cockpit with U-shaped seating and a galley with a cocktail bar area, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing moments.
Both boats are powered by two 440-hp Volvo Penta D6 engines with IPS transmissions, providing easy and precise maneuverability via the joystick.
