Hawk 38 is Sunseeker‘s new day boat. The British shipyard unveils a new high-performance boat, designed with Fabio Buzzi, the record-breaking boat designer.
The new model by Sunseeker and Fabio Buzzi will be equipped with two Mercury R400 outboards, Mercury’s racing line, coupled with Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort handcuffs. The hull has been optimized to take advantage of outboard engine technology, with advantages not only in terms of performance, but also of low-cost maintenance for customers. For even higher performance, other outboard engines are available on request.
The hull patented by FB Design with “anti-dive” bow makes the boat practically unsinkable and reduces vibrations and noise transmission to an absolute minimum. To reduce lateral pitching and increase comfort and safety during high-speed navigation, the Hypalon 866 STAB inflatable tubes are fitted as standard.
Not only performance, but also comfort and luxury. In fact, a wide range of painted finishes and upholstery is available. For those wishing to sunbathe at anchor, the bow deck is complete with a sunbathing area with raised fixed headrests and an optional canopy on the bow deck. The U-shaped aft seat is centralised around a quick-release or painted carbon table that can be stored in seconds.
The cockpit is centrally located, shielded by a windscreen and a large black carbon fibre rigid roof and side screens to deflect the wind.
Equipped with a Simrad navigation system, the control console consists of a 16″ Evo 3 multifunction touch screen display with GPS and Wi-Fi functionality. The Simrad screen gives access to the CZone DC switching system to allow integrated control of all essential systems, including lights, batteries, pumps and LED navigation lights.
Power-assisted steering is made possible by the tilting steering wheel, finished in leather. The toilet compartment is located under the helm. Aft of the console are four FB Design racing seats built for speed and performance.
Every detail of the boat has been designed with performance in mind, right down to carbon fibre tracks with polished stainless steel supports, retractable cleats, compression closures and a custom sound system with polished stainless steel speaker grilles, optional aft-facing bath speakers and divers.
