Sunseeker’s plan to become a giant in the yacht market is continuing. Now, at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, one of the most anticipated models of 2022 is preparing to make its European debut. Named the Sunseeker Predator 65, it is 20 metres long and is an IPS-powered sport yacht with up to 2,000 horsepower at its disposal. This propulsion allows for optimal manoeuvrability, integrated navigation systems and fuel economy.
Featuring a 35-knot speed, this new this new 20-metre Sunseeker yacht promises to offer an exciting and unique driving experience, all in an elegant environment aimed at maximizing comfort and relaxation.
Exteriors and waterlines have a long, slender design, while the alternation of glass, carbon and stainless steel perfectly balances the brand’s aesthetic and conceptual tradition. A very balanced line, especially in its fusion with the iconic deep-V keel typical of Sunseeker, a guarantee of seaworthiness, stability and overall agility. Thanks to a single curved element and carbon supports, the new panoramic top floods the main deck with natural light as never before in previous models. All this produces an innovative and extremely dynamic result.
Focusing on the deck, there are teak walkways, and a forward dinette with a large sundeck with its own integrated cockpit, furnished with additional seating. The aft open space, on the other hand, becomes an absolutely customizable element, and can in fact be designed according to the owner’s direct requirements. The furnishing options are then modular in relation to the owner’s needs. In the case of the helm station (which is extremely bright thanks to the opening roof), in addition to a bar unit with matching stools, a mobile bar option is available, or J-shaped seating spread across the entire aft section of the cockpit. A range of customised furnishing combinations are also available, whether for a family, groups of friends or couples, adding customisability to already intelligent and elegant solutions.
Below deck, a three-cabin layout accommodates up to six guests, while the overall configuration is equally customizable. A full-beam master cabin offers ample private space, with an adjoining toilet. The forward VIP cabin offers equal comfort for guests. Alternatively, specific layouts are available for special requirements, such as an owner’s office area connected to the main cabin, an additional single cabin, or the saloon/kitchen option on the lower deck.
Towards the stern an XL tender-garage allows both the transport and launching of a Williams 345 waterjet tender. This space also allows for the storage of additional items such as diving equipment, paddleboards, SeaBobs and more. A space that is already essential in itself, but in the Beach Club configuration features a completely flush floor, additional furnishings and speakers integrated into the opening hatch. Overall, the Sunseeker Predator 65 presents itself as a respectable boat in its range, ready to deliver cruising experiences without forgetting performance.
