The boat of Dan Lenard

Dan Lenard, the designer of the superyachts, left yesterday from Cadiz, Spain, for Miami, USA. How? On a 10-metre sailboat, without tools. Sailing in its purest form for the designer of sailboats and motor boats of the famous studio Nuvolari Lenard who with this trip wants to promote the going to sea by boat and the need for immediate action for the preservation of the clean environment.

By boat without tools, only in the middle of the ocean

Pure navigation for Dan Lenard who will not be able to communicate until he reaches the Caribbean. Meanwhile, his team will publish daily news and live monitoring regarding the crossing.

Reasons for the trip

Dan Lenard will sail 1,400 miles without technology. An extreme challenge that launched by the designer who has a goal: to draw attention to the need for immediate and concrete action to protect the sea.

“Every step of the route is carefully planned,” he told Boat International, “including the packaging of the appropriate food, so when I get to the other side, I won’t take with me (or leave along the way) even a little rubbish from Europe.
