The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is in the water after the launch at The Italian Sea Group headquarters in Marina di Carrara. At the ceremony was present the management and the team that participated in the realization. We have a surprise planned for this boat, which we will tell you about in the coming weeks. In the meantime, let’s see how it was born and how it is made.
This new super boat, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 draws its inspiration from the Lamborghini Sià n FKP 37, a powerful hybrid supercar. Likewise, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini relies not only on a stylish design but also on two twelve-cylinder MAN engines with 2000 horsepower each. With this power at the stern (combined with surface drives) and a weight of just 24 tons (thanks to the use of carbon fiber), the top speed should be around 60 knots. These performances make the boat in question the fastest in The Italian Sea Group’s Tecnomar fleet.
The profile of the boat is sporty and outside any typical nautical scheme. It is no coincidence that the hull was designed by a team of naval engineers specialized in the study of hydrodynamics, while the superstructure revives, in a contemporary key, the historic lines created by Marcello Gandini for the iconic Lamborghini Miura and Countach cars of the ’60s and ’70s. The hardtop is then inspired by Lamborghini roadster models and therefore guarantees remarkable aerodynamic performance and at the same time protection from sun and wind. Finally, the bow lights are a tribute to the Terzo Millennio concept car and the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, both characterized by front headlights in the design of which Lamborghini stylistic features can be found.
The interior of this super-boat is also the result of high-tech design. Materials that, in terms of weight/performance, represent the best the market has to offer. The colors and materials are 100% customizable through the Ad Personam program. The customization choices are many: from the color of the exteriors, which reflect Lamborghini’s paintwork and specific liveries, to the interiors, available in two versions with various possibilities of material combinations.
The dashboard interprets the automotive cockpit in a nautical key, in which all the navigation and monitoring systems are fully integrated.
As in the Lamborghini super sports cars, there are also carbon fiber details, the use of Carbon Skin, the supersport seats, and the helm/steering wheel. Finally, the unmistakable “start&stop” button (found on the yacht in two units, one for each engine) is the very same one that starts the engine of Lamborghini super sports cars.
