Italyure

There is a distinctly Italian thread that unites performance, design, and reliability. It is the bond between FPT Industrial and Italyure Yachts— a partnership that, in recent years, has contributed to the growth of one of the most exciting shipyards on the contemporary nautical scene.

From 2021 to the present, 26 Italyure yachts have already been equipped with FPT engines, for a total of 52 engines installed. This achievement, which goes far beyond a simple supply agreement, is a testament to a partnership built on trust and a commitment to offering vessels that stand out both in private yachting and in the increasingly demanding charter sector.

FPT and Italyure Yachts: A Partnership That Continues to Grow

FPT, an Iveco Group brand specializing in the development and production of propulsion systems for on-road, off-road, marine, and power generation applications, continues to strengthen its presence in the marine sector. This growth has been made possible in part by the collaboration with AS Labruna, the long-standing distributor of FPT marine engines for Southern Italy, which supports the Campania-based shipyard at every stage, from engine selection to after-sales service.

In the recreational boating sector, FPT is seeing growing interest thanks to engines that prioritize reliability, low fuel consumption, high torque, and an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

The brand’s experience in the marine sector dates back to 1965. Today, the product range includes engines from 3 to 15.9 liters, with power outputs ranging from 85 to 1,000 cavalli, while the line dedicated to yachts covers the 230 to 1,000 cavalli segment . In Italy, an average of two new boats equipped with FPT engines are launched every day. Additionally, a network of over 200 service centers throughout the Mediterranean region supports boat owners and shipyards .

The Success of Italyure Yachts

A very young shipyard (founded as recently as 2020), Italyure Yachts has quickly carved out a highly respected niche for itself in the luxury walk-around segment. The shipyard is located within the “Marina di Torre Annunziata” complex , where it operates a production facility spanning over 126,000 square meters—approximately 30,000 of which are covered—as well as a private dry dock equipped to launch and haul out vessels weighing up to 200 metric tons.

Here, every stage of production is handled in-house: from design to construction, right through to the final installation. This strategy allows the shipyard to maintain high quality standards and a strong stylistic identity.

Designed for work without sacrificing comfort

In recent years, Italyure boats have become an increasingly common sight in the charter fleets operating along the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, logging over 1,500 hours of use between April and October.

To handle these operating rhythms, the shipyard chose to install two FPT N60 engines, a configuration designed to ensure durability, reliability, fuel efficiency, and consistent performance even under the most demanding operating conditions.

People: The Great Added Value

The strength of this partnership was also celebrated duringItalyure Day, an event held on June 8 in Praia a Mare that brought together yacht owners, charter operators, customers, and partners of the shipyard.

During the meeting, Alessandro Mor, FPT’s Marine Portfolio & Product Manager, emphasized that the company’s added value lies not only in its engines, but also in its network of specialized distributors and the ongoing support that accompanies customers from the selection of an engine through to after-sales service.

Italyure Yachts CEO Raffaele Vitiello echoed this sentiment , reiterating the shipyard’s goal: to build boats that are true expressions of design, engineering, and comfort, capable of delivering high performance without compromise. This philosophy finds its ideal partner in FPT engines.

Massimo Labruna, CEO of AS Labruna, also emphasized that, in a highly specialized sector such as the marine industry, human relationships and close ties with customers remain fundamental to ensuring reliability and operational continuity.
