Honda Marine has announced an expansion of its
4XC Design
. Created through strategic collaboration with Altamarea and Ranieri International shipyards, they represent very interesting packages. Today we see four new models, two boats (one of which comes in two versions) and an inflatable boat, ranging from 60 thousand to 100 thousand euros, already motorized.
The philosophy of the 4XC Design series is based on the greatest possible synergy between engine and boat. Honda, with these three models, demonstrates a focus on watercraft as well. After launching Honda’s new 115- to 250-hp outboards, here’s what’s new among the boats.
HA 8.5 – 8 meters
The HA8.5 inflatable boat (RIB), with a length of more than 8 meters, was the latest step to complete the range offering: from the 5.9 meters of the HA20, it goes up to the 11.7 meters of the HR110. The ideal configuration of the new HA8.5 includes a single 250-hp engine. Standard equipment includes: anchor windlass system, shower, tubulars in Orca 866 White and a 50-liter refrigerator; during configuration, customization is available with dedicated options. Pricing starts at 74,782 euros with the Honda BF 250 outboard.
The second boat included in the range is theFRP H28 Day Cruiser, an elegant 8.2-meter walk-around ideal for the yachtsman seeking practicality. Honda Marine recommends the Honda BF 300 DBW single engine package and the price is 107,523 euros.
Equipment is complete with gas exhaust fan, bow seat and settee, living area with sink, stern table, automatic bilge pump, electric windlass, and hydraulic steering.
The 6.6-meterFRP H23, on the other hand, is designed for recreational fishing enthusiasts. It is available in two versions, both with maximum installable power of 250 hp: the H23 Cabin Fish, a combination of recreational and fishing with a spacious cabin and equipped cockpit, or the H23 Sport Fish, which is designed for primarily sport use and optimizes on-board space with fishing-specific solutions, such as a live bait tank and rod holders.
For both H23 models, standard equipment also includes two stainless steel rod holders, four insulated and oxygenated fish tanks, fold-down stern back, hydraulic steering and Zipwake trim correctors, among other options. Prices? 60,025 euros to put the Sport Fish version with BF 150 engine in the water and 71,613 euros for the Cabin Fish version with Honda BF 200 outboard.
