Not only in Europe, but also overseas, the walkaround is a very successful boat. From Brazil comes a 44-foot model that fully reflects what are the standard standards of the modern walkaround.
Schaefer V44
Following the success of the V33, Brazilian shipyard Schaefer enriches its walkaround range with a larger, 13.6 m f.t. model that shares the usual philosophy.
Simple but nontrivial lines define the typical Mediterranean walkaround configuration. Walkways sculpt the deckhouse above which is a large sundeck. The helm station is sheltered by a large windshield, which connects to a full-beam, sunroofed hardtop. Below this is the wet bar and a settee in the living area.

The 13-meter Brazilian walkaround
Behind the folding table is an even larger sundeck, convertible into a sofa or armchair as needed, that faces the water when the now ubiquitous fold-down sides are taken advantage of.
Below deck, spaces are well utilized for being a walkaround. Forward, in addition to the master cabin, there is space for an interior galley and, of course, a bathroom. Toward the stern is a double, full-beam cabin carved out of a volume of good height.
But what is striking, both in the exterior and interior, is the high quality of the assemblies and finishes, the pursuit of detail in construction, and the attention to style and ergonomics.
The motorizations of this boat
V44 can be powered outboard, with 3 engines of 400 hp each, which can make it reach a maximum speed of about 50 knots, a non-trivial achievement for a vessel of this size, or make it easily hold a cruising speed of 30 knots. Or, if you prefer comfort to performance, it is also available in an inboard version, with a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 600s.
Price
How much does the Schaefer V44 cost? The price starting at €1,152,846 excluding VAT.
