Baglietto 48 meters

From a shared passion for the sea and a clear design identity, the new Baglietto with hull number 10277. This 48-meter explorer yacht is a full custom, born out of a shipowner’s request for a vessel capable of taking on the challenge of a round-the-world voyage.

Every engineering detail is designed to maximize freedom of navigation, blending extreme autonomy, performance and luxury. One cannot help but be impressed by the stern of this mega-yacht; in keeping with the latest design trends, the bulwarks can be folded down to make a huge “equipped beach” a stone’s throw from the sea.

The sternWhat is “monstrous” about this new boat is the size of the beach club, a truly vast area with open broadside. Exact measurements have not yet been given to us, but we assume that the length of this area is close to 10 meters, for a “spread-wing” width of about 8 meters estimated: roughly the area of a very spacious two-room apartment.

The boat is the result of a collaboration between the Baglietto shipyard, Floating Life and Satura Studio, under the technical supervision of Zero13 for the engineering part; together they are creating this mega boat, which is expected to obtain the ICE CLASS 1D classification, i.e., the one that allows safe navigations in extreme environments and high latitudes.

The aesthetic and functional design reflects Floating Life’s philosophy: maximum contact with the sea and continuity between interior and exterior spaces, and the stern of this custom is the signature of the Swiss-based design studio. “Working with an excellence such as Baglietto is a source of great pride for us,” says Andrea Pezzini, co-founder and Director of Floating Life, who continues, “This 48-meter represents our idea of tailor-made: accompanying the owner step by step, from the technical conception to the definition of spaces. It is the most recent result of our New Build Division.”
