Class is not water. The new Rustler 41 was born not to disfigure even next to a mega yacht. Economic value and size, in fact, are not everything. Especially where there is elegance of lines and build quality.

Rustler Yacht goes motoring: here’s Rustler 41

There is a British brand that “serious” sailors are familiar with. It is Rustler Yacht and enjoys considerable fame. The reason? They are solid boats with classic lines and marine qualities that even the most finicky person would not object to. Do you want to sail around the world? Buy a Rustler and you will not regret it. Our magazine, however, does not deal with that, but with powerboats. Today in this article we reveal, in a preview, Rustler Yacht’s first motor yacht: the brand new Rustler 41.

A 12-meter yacht for true gentlemen

. Rustler’s new yacht is designed by Tony Castro and is a V-shaped, 100% planing hull. The cruising speed is about 25 knots and the top speed is close to 35 knots. All this without sacrificing the maritime qualities that distinguish this type of hull. In addition to the shaftline, the design also includes inboards or even outboards as the drive system. The base engine, however, is with 2 Yanmar 320-horsepower 8LV320 in the axle line.

The possibility of such marked customization (even in the interior) comes from the practically handcrafted production of these boats. It is usually not possible to change the hull gelcoat color, layout, or interior style. Rustler, in this, is against the grain. Those who want a style (modern and minimal, vintage, classic oak, etc.) can have it.

Rustler 41: what it looks like

On board we find convivial spaces. The salon houses a kitchen, sink and refrigerator, a U-shaped dinette with table that, when lowered, becomes an additional (third) double berth.

In the stern is a cockpit with an L-shaped sofa and wet bar and more seating in the bow. A door leads to the bathing platform for easy boarding, which can also be used for the tender. Side doors in the hull improve access when the boat is English moored.

The high cockpit bulwarks are reduced at the bow, allowing easy access to the foredeck and sunpad on the canopy. Below, the master cabin has a large aft-facing double berth, while the guest cabin has an aft-facing double berth that passes under the cockpit to port. The bathroom is designed to be and has a separate shower area.
