About the Pisa and Tankoa Shipyards.
Founded in 1945 on the Arno River, the 76-year-old Tuscan shipyard became famous for its planing motoryachts, such as the Akhir and Kitalpha series designed by Pierluigi Spadolini. The acquisition of Cantieri di Pisa will allow both to grow the production potential of the Tankoa shipyard in Genoa and to revive the prestigious Cantieri di Pisa brand with innovative products ranging from 30 to 45 meters.
Thus, the goal is twofold: on the one hand, to increase Tankoa’s construction capacity with one more venue. At the same time producing yachts from a brand that has made Italian-made products famous around the world with projects like the Akhir.
