Once again, Made in Italy is confirmed as the world’s excellence in the nautical world, and once again the Azimut Benetti Group confirms this, ranking as the absolute leader in the production of mega yachts in the world. For the 24th consecutive year! This is confirmed by the Global Order Book, which annually compiles the industry’s benchmark ranking, awarding Azimut Benetti in 2024 against both the number of units under construction and overall length of projects: 167 boats, equivalent to a total of 6014 meters, or 14% of the world market surveyed.

Azimut Benetti – 24 Years as a Leader
Important numbers those highlighted, but not related only to paper, because they also find congerma in the record results recorded by the Group: the growth in the value of production, as of 31-08-23, is in fact 23% higher than the previous year, while, looking at the gross operating margin (Ebitda), the increase instead increases by 50%. This confirms the soundness of the path taken, which in turn is demonstrated by the increase in the value of production, which almost doubled in the five-year period under review: from 700,000 million euros to 1.3 billion euros. These figures are matched by the order book, which has been extended to 2027 due to the success of models brought to market.
However, looking beyond what are the economic results achieved -to which an investment of 150 million euros is guaranteed over the next three years- the Group plans to continue its efforts in the search for better solutions to reduce the environmental impact, as it has already announced by emphasizing the boating industry’s best results in reducing CO2 emissions. This is accompanied by the first industry agreement for the use of HVO biofuel.Similarly, the Group has also championed the development of a public index for measuring yacht efficiency, in cooperation with both Lloyd’s Register and Superyacht Eco Association.
