There is a new brand in the motor boating market, and it promises interesting news. Its name is
Santasevera
, an all-Italian brand and founded on Made in Italy expertise led by yacht designer Francesco Guida, under the aegis of the Guida Design studio. In short, the finale of this 2023 introduces news to keep an eye on, because it coincides with the presentation of the first model in the range, the Santasevera 52, standard-bearer of a range that, as of now, also includes a 40 and a 46-footer for the near future. Sleek, contemporary and designed to maximize volume to ensure extremely livable open spaces, the new 16.35-meter is already under construction in two units and is anticipated to be a project to keep an eye on.

Santasevera 52

Designed to be a versatile and comfortable hull, the new 52′ is presented as a yacht that can be used either as a large weekender for two couples or a family, or as a dayboat or chaseboat for larger boats. Boasting large volumes (16.35 x 5.05 m), the 52′ concept revolves around a fundamental principle: it is not only the signature and the look that make a boat a great success, it is rather the attention to the little things, to details such as movements and spaces, that make life on board a pleasant and joyful experience. In short, there comes a new brand and a new yacht whose insignia are the combination of aesthetics and pragmatism. And we will get the first proof with the launching of the first hull, scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024. In the meantime, we tell you a preview.

Santasevera 52 – Exterior

Inverted bow, ample forward momentum and abundant aft spaces, with the hard top being the only main volume, just forward of the boat center. An incisive and somewhat divergent look compared to market standards, with features partially bucking the trend, such as the walkaround layout, sacrificed here in favor of increased exterior aft spaces and greater comfort in the convivial areas below the hard-top.

Indeed, the Santasevera 52 immediately welcomes with a large open space aft, the incipit of which is a lowered beach area, an ideal terrace on the water for bathing and outdoor time. Just beyond, a huge four-person sundeck populates the center of the cockpit, immediately followed by a daybed, a spot on the right side of the cockpit, already sheltered by the hard-top above.

Here, under the top, the most convivial area of the deck comes to life, an open living room with a U-shaped sofa served by a coffee table that can be converted into a dining table. In front, a cabinet engages the port bulkhead while, opposite the windshield, three ergonomic seats serve the helm station, two at the helm on the starboard side and one on the port side. The last outdoor convivial area, equipped with a recessed sundeck, is present at the extreme bow, reached via the walkways located on the exteriors of the enclosed hard-top.

Interior

Bolstered by an enlarged and rounded bow, the Santasevera 52’s interior makes the most of its volumes, carving out a rather generous, full-beam forward master stateroom complete with closets and storage space. The entrance area, on the other hand, welcomes with a sitting area complete with sofa, an area from which, among other things, there is access to the toilet room, complete with shower.

Master cabin

Finally, aft is the second cabin, a twin bedded cabin. All the furnishings are cared for down to the smallest detail, decorated with oak presences and upholstery in natural shades.

Turning, finally, to the engine front, in its standard version the hull will be equipped with a pair of 480-horsepower Volvo Penta D6 engines with shaftline transmission. Optionally, however, expanding the range on specific owner preferences, versions with IPS or outboard engines will also be available. In terms of range, the fuel tank has a capacity of 1,400L.

The 8 powerboats that made Wally’s history

In boating, there is a “before” and an “after” Wally because the brand founded in 1994 changed the world of boats forever. In this case the insight, or rather the vision, bears the name of Luca Bassani. 30 years ago,
