In this 2024 we have seen several different kinds of boats come out on the market, whether for fishing, cruising, or even going around the world. We have selected for you the thirteen best boats that have already debuted in the new year, with lengths between 10 and 30 meters. Find out about them all!
13 unmissable boats from 10 to 30 meters. Azimut Magellano 30M
A new globetrotter for the world’s largest yacht manufacturing company-Azimut Benetti. The Magellan 30 redefines the standard of long-range luxury cruising. Designed by American Ken Freivokh, it has a vertical prow, a very massive broadside and protected walkways. Contact with the outdoors, however, is provided by more than 70 square meters of glass windows. A globetrotter is very much alive in the interiors, curated by architect and designer Vincenzo De Cotiis. For long sailings, as usual, we find the Dual Mode hull, designed by P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture & Azimut R&D Department to combine the comfort of displacement on transfers with faster speeds when needed.
Boston Whaler 365 Conquest
Here comes the successor to the Boston 345 Conquest, a model capable of finding many admirers here in Italy as well. The new 365 Conquest takes its cue from another Boston Whaler innovation, the 405 Conquest. For U.S.-flavored sea outings, it is the perfect middle ground between sport cruiser and fisherman, with protected spaces and wraparound windshield, plenty of stowage for every eventuality, and three powerful 400-horsepower Mercury V10 outboard engines.
Axopar 29
The heir to the legendary 28 has more space and volume, more power, and can also have two cabins and four berths, with more range. Those extra 20 centimeters make all the difference in the world. Axopar’s strengths here are taken to the highest level: great hull efficiency, extreme functionality, a competitive price. The boat is available in Sun-Top, more Mediterranean or Cross-cabin versions, with the central salon enclosed.
13 unmissable boats from 10 to 30 meters. Wiszniewski W43
You do not know this name, it is likely, but you are almost familiar with the hulls they build. Searay, Axopar, Quicksilver. A production of 3,000 boats per year and over 35 years of experience. In 2024, after extensive development with J&J Design, the W34 was born. The Polish shipyard brings together classical and modern elements with remarkable craftsmanship to create a fast-paced, Mediterranean scato, but with more American-style traits. The result is a nearly 14-meter boat that we look forward to trying out at sea.
Brabus Shadow 1200
It looks like a special forces vehicle, instead, it is “just” Brabus’ new 13.9-meter monster, based on the Axopar 45 platform. In the stern are 1200 outboard horsepower to propel it at 50+ knots. The full name of “Brabus 1200 XC Black Ops Signature Edition” is in line with all debuts made so far of major models from the very first 800 up to the Shadow 900.
Plate 41
If you are an all-weather navigator, the new version of Targa 41 should be kept an eye on. It is 13.7 meters long with up to five beds and two bathrooms. Then there is deck space and upper deck space with a second wheelhouse. The right boat if you are looking for something that is not just a floating beach for swimming, but a means of living. The coping on the top of the broadside and the stanchion enhance the safety of use. Basically, it has two 440-horsepower Volvo Penta D6s with which it goes 32 knots at cruising speed.
Saxdor 400 GTC
Competitively priced and latest solutions to have a very desirable boat in the market. This Saxdor makes use of the entire beam; the bow is reached through an opening in the windshield, but the beauty is what lies in between. At the stern, a glass door provides access to the cockpit with wide side terraces that also reach further forward. The furniture is modular. Below deck is a double cabin and a twin cabin amidships.
Fairline Targa 40
Heir to the iconic Targa 38, it has a very spacious super-modular cockpit and a contained aft platform since there is a dedicated garage for the tender! The cockpit is protected by a really large hardtop and has an electric sunroof with retractable canvas while large sunbathing areas dominate the bow. To starboard is a fold-down broadside, while to port the cockpit table disappears into a side locker. Below deck there are two cabins with the forward master stateroom reaching an impressive 1.98 meters of headroom and private bathroom.
13 unmissable boats from 10 to 30 meters. Solaris 52 Coupe
Boats for those who sail. Solaris wants to be that first and foremost. Marine hulls, solid, without, however, sacrificing elegance. The new Coupe is no different with a smooth hull even on wave passage thanks to the starry bow and deep V to which is added protected space for year-round living. There is room outside to sunbathe or enjoy meals on board and six beds. At the stern are two Volvo Penta D6IPS 650s, for maximum speeds of 28 knots and 22 knots cruising.
Quarken 35 Cabin
This young Nordic boatyard designs and builds its boats in Finland. On its first 35-foot cabin cruiser is a salon with glass windows on deck, space for a galley, dining area. The engines are two Yamaha 300hp engines. 35 cabin was born as a weekender where two adults (plus a child) can be accommodated in the large forward cabin and two more beds can be made in the salon by lowering the center table.
13 unmissable boats from 10 to 30 meters. Solaris 52 Coupe. Galeon 435 GTO
The new Galeon is an “all-glass” boat as is now customary for the shipyard. A fast cruiser that, to the three 600-horsepower Mercury Verado V12s (1,800 total hp), adds another popular modern trend: folding broadside. Bulky sportswear fabric with a racy look and space for eating with family and friends. A very “American” approach with which this shipyard wanted to evolve another successful model. Up to four people can then sleep below deck.
NY40 Outboard
NY40 Outboard is the latest creation of the Fano-based shipyard, Nerea Yachts. The sleek lines are matched by high-tech coatings made from a special resin that purifies the air. In the aft area instead of Besenzoni’s “3-in-1” platform that characterizes its sister, there are three 400-horsepower Mercury V10 outboard engines that also thanks to the V-shaped hull designed by Zuccheri Yacht Design allow for a top speed of 48 knots. Below deck there is room for two cabins and bathroom.
Chris-Craft Launch 27
To celebrate these 150 years, Chris Craft chooses discretion. A classic American boat like the Launch 27 polished and updated shows that there is room in the market for “old-fashioned” hulls as well. Of course, we are talking about a model that is new in every way, but with references to the great tradition of the shipyard. Also reminding you of this is the chart plotter, which on this model is set up with a special 150th anniversary welcome screen.
