Best Boat Accessories 2023 – Energy and Electricity
Batteries, generators, solutions to power on-board electronic systems. More and more boats now need to have lots of power, and many companies are producing batteries that are increasingly lightweight, compact, and sustainable. Here are what are the best boat accessories of 2023 for the “Energy and Electricity” category.
Boat Accessories 2023 – Essential – Aceleron
This iron-lithium-phosphate battery from Aceleron is available in 12V, 24V and 48V cuts for 15 kg weight, and is a sustainable battery. The main feature of the battery is the ability to replace cells and components. In case of failure or at the end of life, when the number of cycles of the cells is too high to continue their use in charge-discharge, Aceleron recovers the cells and reuses them in different areas.
LE300 Smart Battery System – Neea SRL
With LE300 Smart Battery System you can pair a lithium iron-phosphate battery with a conventional lead-acid battery. The 12 V lead-acid battery system remains unchanged. Simply add LE300 modules in parallel (up to a maximum of 24) with a plug and play installation and you are done.
UP 400 – PowerUP
This new generator produced in Estonia uses hydrogen in a gaseous state to produce energy. It works through a proton exchange membrane and fuel cells, combining hydrogen with oxygen in the air to generate electricity. The production is efficient and environmentally friendly, in fact the only waste products of the reaction are heat and water. PowerUP’s UP series includes 200 W, 400 W and 1 kW models for 12, 16 and 25 kg weights, respectively.
SAFE-Li – Sealence
With its incredible capacity of 83 KWh, its more than 250 kw of power at 450 volts (equivalent to 340 horsepower), and the best positioning in terms of power-to-weight ratios, Sealence’s lithium-cobalt battery differs from all others on the market. Designed for heavy use on boats between 12 and 18 meters.
